Thread: Relative Newcomer: Couple Questions

Hey guys. I'm pretty new to BH, not the game though. I'm 2444 BH, Master Rifles, and Brawler 4440 left over from my melee days.
These boss targets are kicking my butt. I'm lucky to get them to 50% before incap. I have 6k energy sliced composite...a sliced Krayt Advanced Laser rifle doing 500-1010, 350 base dps (560 Mdps). I macro duelist stance, take Ruby beil, Breath of Heaven, and Pixie before a tough fight. Stims on the toolbar....I then start with Aim, Underhand, Torso, Eye, Critical, Critical, Critical..Repeat. What am I doing wrong? Is medic essential for taking these targets down? If so what trees?
Second question: I'm been grinding Investigation 3 out of Coronet. Take a mission, shuttle over to the contact in Bela Vistal, call the droid, back to Coronet starport..off to whatever planet I need to go to. I know investigation is a slow grind. Is there a better method for doing it? Between lag and load times in Coronet, I waste 10 min just moving around getting ready. Any suggestions, or just suck it up?

Use headshot also... and why are you a BRAWLER? Drop that for CM 4000. JUST DO IT!

Yeah, I was a triple melee master template until a week and half ago (TK, Fencer, Swords...yes it can be done, do the math) so they're still there as I slowly dropped melee skills for BH and Rifles. I didnt want to drop all of them at once because I would loose combat levels.
So drop them all ad do CM 4000? Ok, I can give that a try.
How about the investigation part? Am I doing this efficiently? Is there a better way?

ya there is no good way to do the inv branch. Your doing it fine, might want to run from somewhere else if c-net is busy, but otherwise just suck it up and finsh, but worth it once you do
