My new scatter 180dmg power cells, -.77 spd, -8 action cost

Darkstarr... question (BTW nice duel now that I know you are Skyyr).... I thought DPS doesnt mean anything, especially since anything under 2.0 in speed is capped. You shoot every 3 secs anyway. The WS's says its all about max dmg...

That's because they're trying to sell you something. It's all about min dmg. And speed cap on pistols is 1.0.

Actually, 1.73 speed on base (but that's because in most cases, your modded speed will be 1.0 at that point).

dps is unreliable for weapons with speeds greater than 1.5. For speeds closer to 1 second, it's a decent indicator.


My pistol hits every second, btw. I hit back-to-back for 2 hits, every fourth hit or so is a 2 second delay.

What kind of powerup did you use to increase the speed?
