Are you CL 80? Do you have the main specials one needs (a root, Adv crit, body or leg shot, kd)? Do you have a good suit of Ubese armor with high energy resists? Are you using food/spice to increase your health and regen rates? Do you have Stim Ds with 1000+ healing? Finally, are you hunting Jedi with bounties OVER 190k (over 190k become VERY difficult unless you pick the right moment).?
Jedi are powerful so you cant expect to be a CL60 BH with half-ass gear, poor specials, little to no knowledge of food/spices, and no stim Ds. Likewise, you can be a fully prepared BH with all the right gear and,even if you're notcareless, have a 200k+ Knight strike you down..
As far as CH... Always been my experience that CH sucks for PvP 
Back in the days of glory CH use to be the profession to be! I caught the ass end of that era and had a blast!!!! Every since the CH nerf (think it was Nov or Dec of 03') CH has been way underpowered! Atleast the creatures where... Poor offensive and only limiteddefensive value... But since anyone with a brain knows NOT to bother with the pets but to just go after the handler, there is little defensive use either...
Go with MBH and a master ranged as a minimum.... Optimally, invest your skill pts to get MBH, a root shot (like stopping shot in pistoleer 0-0-0-3) and good non BH damage special (like body or leg shot)... You wont win em all, but if you stay 190k or lower should do ok unless you really suck

i have been a bh for some time and am just wanting to try something stupid. i know that pets are not that good but my whole idea is to make them stay in one spot and then use conceal shot on the jedi wile the pets attack him/her.
all i was asking is if anyone has tryed this and if so what it is like, not asking if i am being stupid or not.
i am just experimenting with a few variations, i will also try after this MBH + MRM + some commando skills. i wounder if sniper shot with a plasma thrower would work???

sorta tried that once a while ago, was Mrifles and MCH had a lvl 40 ranco cuz i had just got him, and a 22 female narglatch, i didnt sic him on a mark but on a friend whose a jedi/mbh they ripped him up i coulda killed him pretty easy if i had shot at him, so yea definatly go for it if you feel like, but i'll tell you now, CH is a PAIN
