I was a master Carbs/ BH dabbler for sometime and after some respecsI am aMasterCarb/MBH/(soon-to-be) CM 2,0,0,0 and some force skills. Call me newb or whatever but, I don't get Duelist Stance. How do I use it and when should I be employing it? I am PvE only and generally hunt with an MCH/(soon-to-be)MRM. I do the tanking generally after the pets slow them down. I keep hearing out great it is supposed to be but have not been able to employ it effectively.
How and when do you recommend I use Duelist Stance?

Duelist stance adds defense. I suggest you deploy it as soon as it starts blinking under your name.

Get it up before anything gets in striking distance. It helps with melee units by increasing defense, but against ranged units it also gives the great benefit of returning fire on to your attackers. Meanwhile your own attacks keep going merrily along.

You might also want to make a macro to keep it going. I found this type of macro somewhere and have found it usefull.
Macro Duelist
/dueliststance;
/pause25;[you will want to customise your pause times]
/tell <my name> Stop For Macro;
/pause 5;
/macro duelist;
The "tell" gives me both a visual reminder and an audible reminder to stop moving for the macro to take effect.
You might want to see if this is useful for you.
