Hi everyone I am new to this Bounty Hunting lark and am getting killed rather too much for my liking at the moment
At the moment I have Composite Armour but I am sure there is something better out there that I can get. I only have 120k so I was looking for something that doesnt cost loads !
I also have a Proton Carbine but unfortunately it seems to be rather shi te at the moment. I am getting 526 or something damage per second from it. Exactly what upgrades can I get to it to make it better it hasnt been changed at all since I got it.
I am a Master Carbineer, MBH, Pistoleer 0003 if that helps at all.

If you only have 120K id invest in non-crated food, stims, and pupsatm. After you get a few kills and some cash in your bank get some good armor. Most importantly know the skills you already have. I heard a jedi qoute somewhere that he would rather face a pikeman with an insanely uber preCU pike and no experience, than a pikeman who has a broom stick and knows how to use it.

I have already killed 2 Jedi but I spent all my money on an uber X-Wing
This guy I was gonna kill easily earlier would have been my third kill.
I find that Underhand Shot + Torso shot are the best shots. Any other good ones that people would care to suggest ? ![]()

I am sorry to post 2 in a row but could you please tell me what some 'decent' armour would be ?

That is what I spam as well when trying to lay damage and I only have novice carbs. Those two shots are on different timers and can be fired together fairly fast with great damage.

I'm MP, so I wear recon armor that is about 7300 energy. I'm not positive but I think MC will have too many encumbrances with recon.

If you're master Carbs get a good set of Battle Armour. Regular stuff is around 6k across the board but if you have the extra cash contact a good AS and get them to make a custom set for you. Get them to use either Primus layers or Energy layers but expect to pay at least 1m for the suit.

I like to set the DOT with Torso Shot then alternate between Critical Shot, Full-Auto, & Legshot. Just make sure you have some good Action-regen foods/spice or your pool will poof very quickly.
Also, if you are noticing that you run out of Action too fast even with food, try using a P-UP with increased damaged and speed. Your DPS listing will look worse, but you'll actually be able to do more damage over the long run.
