Thread: How man RL and Star Wars BH's never knew what they were to get paid?

I mean honestly...why would anyone work if they dont know what their getting paid? Do you think Jango or Boba would ever do a job without knowing up front how many credits they were getting out of it.

I can see it now....
IG88: "I've come to look for work"
BH Terminal: "We have lots of bounties here for you!"
IG88: "How much is this one worth?"
BH Terminal: "We cant tell you, you'll just get paid when you finish it"
IG88: "What if its only 60k? Thats bearly enough to refule IG2000!"
BH Terminal: "Tough crackers. If you dont like it...lump it."
IG88 *runs off and uses /respec to become a master dancer so he can duel wield pom poms.*
Personally, I dont give a rats patoot about the names off the terminals. Thats no biggie for me cause I'll even hunt my friends if their foolish enough to get on. What I am concerned about is that I no longer know what and for how much I'm working for, and any self respecting BH isnt going to work for an unknown price.
Just seems really unethical towards BH's period.

When was a jedi ever hunted by a bounty hunter in the movies? The only two people that had marks put on their head was a queen/senator and a smuggler.

You know, lots of people keep saying this but the notes didnt say we wouldnt get to see the payout. They just said we wouldnt be able to tell the jedi's level via the payout.

So Jedi bounties should be replaced with politician and smuggler bounties? Neat. Much less interesting, but neat.

Personally, I would like to see more player/faction bounties offered. If you hunt the imperials en mass, then you should haveimperial bhcoming after you for crimes against the empire. If you hunt rebels en mass, then you should have rebel bh coming after you for crimes against the rebellion.
That would jump start the GCW quite a bit.

And when in the movies did you ever see a BH goto a terminal for a mark?
No where in my post did I say jedi at all. In this game it just so happens that its what we get for marks right now.
IN GENERAL NO SELF-RESPECTING STARWARS OR EVEN RL BH IS GOING TO WORK FOR AN UNKNOWN PRICE. If you do then all your letting them do is fleece you into playing a game with a lie as its title.

No. What's unethical is the blatant misrepresentation and misinformation that's happening here. Honestly, I blame Auraboron. His post title says that payouts are being removed from the terminals.
That is a complete fabrication. And I cannot help but believe that is intentional.
What the beta-patch notes said was very different. "Bounty Hunter Jedi missions (1) no longer list Jedi names and (2) prevent you from determining Jedi’s level via mission payout". There are worlds of difference between payouts not being shown and payouts not letting you determine the Jedi's strength.
One possibility is what I suggested weeks ago. Base the payout on the Jedi's vis, as opposed to their skillpoint payout.

If thats the outcome then I'll be pleased. How many times have we seen the Fan Fest post where a DEV says he would like to take the names and payouts off the terms? I think thats been shoved down our throats to the point of explosiveness.
And now thier saying something that is extremely close to doing that and we explode.
