Thread: BH Term Name Problems Different Point/Side

The BH term name change has been argued around this board and the jedi board. I'm not talking about just getting a mission for the love of the hunt.
What about the Role-Playing aspect? The very nature of this game, as a MMORPG is that it's.... you guessed it! A ROLE-PLAYING game. I hunt more jedi through a player bounty than any other way.
Typically, I'll get an email from someone that a Jedi has disgruntled for whatever reason. I'll get some background on the mark, who his friends are, where he lives and where the even that caused someone place to a deathmark on him/her happened.
Usually the player bounties range from 500k-2mil or so depending on how upset the person is who contacted me. I go to a term, find the mission I need and wait.... either for them to come online, or for the right opportunity to pounce and kill them.
Upon successful completion of the "contract" I will take a screenie of the corpse saying something to the effect of "Jedi Joe Schmo, you were marked for termination by "Disgruntled Player" for the following offenses "list offenses" at my hands." This "proof of death" screenie gets mailed to the player, and I upon recipt I get my reward. I've never been burnt on it, but even if I had, the player get's blacklisted and I still got the system payout for killing the Jedi.
The new changes are going to muss up thatrole-playing aspect of the bounty hunting profession. Thoughts?

While it might mess up role playing. These changes were needed in the last patch, when jedi healing got nerfed. As a mbh/mc 4000 combat medic I have better damage, better healing, and a first strike option.

I think the devs have decided that any sort of society driven deterrent to poor behavior while wielding a glow stick is wrong.
I think the devs have decided that there should be no penalty for visibility. Jedi should be running around showing off to new players to encourage them to get their own jedi.
I think the devs have decided that GCW belongs to the Jedi.
I think the devs decided we can get a jedi, suck on it, or quit and they are ok with that.
And you’re right. The changes kill that role playing aspect of the game and any other full template only hunters. But I think that’s the devs goal.

Yep, sadly these changes kill the BHs who like to RP BH, and those who actually like to "hunt" their marks with intelligence.
