i like advanced laser rifles. you get get dmg and sac cap pretty easily with some enhanced power cells. you alsoget teh longer range and higher dmg. i use SAC pup's on my rifle to get it down to 56 which means i can spam specials all day long.

i have that same temp and i do fine my gun is featherweight caped sac / dmg so :
dmg : 365-956 ( somthing like that cant remember exact numbers )
SAC : 65
with a dmg pup it goes to somthing like 465-1118 at that hits almost as high as alot of rifles + its kenetic to bad DE-10 is energy that thing is like 671 - 1181 with a dmg pup on it way better than my saber even the min lol
you can make it work i hit jedi hard if they are MD's its not going to be easy anyway MCM are best on them but its not really my style and for me MD are to boring to fight the fights last to long. 30+min its just to long.

u dont have to change ur template buy bomb droids with 60 detonatin power at last, few days ago i have m def so i call droid start count 5...4...3...2... and then kd him and bum half health :] and if u have cm xxx4 paralyze him so he cant run aor destroy droid

advance laser rifle. with cap on sac and dmg. then throw a speed pu on it or get it speed slice. maybe look for general range speed ca or aa.

get CM 0404 instead of CM4004, your heals are still good with BE stuff and some BE clothing+tapes and you get fire+posion
