I picked up a seeker droid and I have tried many times to use it without sucsess. First what are there primary purpose and secondly how do I get it working???

I didn't know that it was ment for hunting humans and I use the term loosely...But it was cheap and It's kinda interesting to have, So I thought I'd learn how to use it

I may be wrong, but I believe its only used by Bounty Hunters, and they can buy it for cheaper then we can make it. You see, the developers don't want the droid engineer to be a profitable profession, so they are taking out or reducing anything that we can sell for money. They are even giving other professions the ability to tame superior products.

It is a bounty hunter driod. It is only useable on bounty hunter missions.

It is sold in a vendor because it is broken. At present the seeker and probe droids are both broken in that they only function once, then disappear. Since they "needed" to push this game out the door, they put a vendor in the game to sell these 2 droids at a reduced price, until such a time as the droids were fixed. This was the easiest way to fix it without drastically increasing the payout on bounty hunter missions. Wouldnt want a bunch of players running around with limitless credits now would they?? bwahahahahahahaha

Technically the vendors are "supposed" to come out when the droids are properly fixed. But I dont see that happening before the space expansion, do you?
