Thread: Playing this game is still really fun-----to kids.
i do the same thing now. when i first started playing i was all about being in the star wars universe and killing stormies and stuff and charging in after marks and what not. After 9 months of playing i find i analyze every aspect of playing... "How many more marks can i get before my buffs run out, whats the status of my food supply, Should i keep this loot or sell it, should i spend the extra creds for 500 more protection in my armor".
Its an adult thing. I'm 29 and i do this stuff in real life too. my last girlfriend was 19 (i know i robbed the cradle but she was legal andshe told me she was 23). one night we were drinking at a friends house and i was going slow cuz i had to drive home and i knew the consequences of getting smashed too fast. she on the other hand was gone in about an hour and paid for it the next day lol. when i was 19 i was like that but now being older and smarter i know better but i find it makes things boring sometimes and i find myself thinking back on how i was.
And yes i will be 30 ![]()

What I mean by that is being an adult, I always analyze everything that happens as I'm playing......did I get that XP....did my scatter do enough damage.......what's my buff status???? Yet when my cousin sat down for the first time last week and booted up the game.......you'd have thought that he just won the lottery.......he's 13 and been sheltered from Online games by his parents.......but as he was at my house on vacation......I thought he could use some SWG time. Anyway, my point is maybe I'd be better off playing this game at a lower perspective......and just enjoy what's there. Teaching my cousin how to play really reminded me of what the game felt like the first day I booted it up at launch. How cool seeing a CH teach their pets......all that nostalgia. He didn't care about the details.....he just enjoyed star wars......and maybe that's all that was intended when they made this game.
I do this all the time with new guildies that enter my guild that are n00bs... I take them aside and try to teach them the game froma different point of view. It constantly reminds meof the"Keep it Simple Stupid" mentality I should be taking and most of the time have always took. I mean, the other day... went and did some of the races again around the galaxy for sh1ts's and giggles

The glowtards have destroyed this game.
shut up, no one cares what you think, they're not "glow tards" they're nothing of the such, they're another prof, and wether you like it or not, the novelty of any game wears off with or without an alpha class.
