You have to remember the Devs are all IT guys/gals........just on the applications side of the house.....anyway.....we frequently blame things on bugs.....reboots........the vendors.........it's just the nature of our biz.

Can't help but notice how excited over the XP nerf alot of you are. Guess what! Tiggs posted in the LIVE forum that its a possible bug and the chat mods are saying its definatly a bug and id currently being fixed.

I think he is refering to this Clicky. However that post by Tiggs is just devspeak. I'm guessing that the xp change was intended, but that the devs are back pedaling and will blame it on a bug.

You also have to keep in mind that the programmers don't test the changes on live. What the reports I've read (I don't grind except in extreme emergencies), the amount of XP reported onscreen in system messages was not the same as that being credited in the skill meters. So, while I hope the xp changes are intended to bring skill advancement back to a reasonable level, it's probably a bug.

I hope it is intended. I really do. It would be really interesting to see how many of these kids actually have the intestinal fortitude to grind thier jedi the way I did. It was sincerely beneficial, as the time gave me the experience needed to really know how to fight, to really get to know my template and play it well.
Right now, jedi are simply leveling way too fast to really get to know how to really fight. (Yes, leveling in 3 months time is way too fast).

There are still bugs, purple text shows im getting 5k xp per kill but actual gain is only around 1k, wel see after the hot fix if we got nerfed or not.

Perhaps you missed this, but with the CU the creatures difficulty dramatically increased..... So, no, this is not the way you ground your jedi, its not pre-CU style, its just CU style, only without the whole point of the CU (to group). Experience has never been as hard to get as it is now
