I got the hardest npc boss for a mark I've had last night. He had twice the health of a gorax. I make that comparison because I killed one right before I fought this mark. I couldnt get his health below 50%. And even though there are better weapons out there, my scatter isnt gimp by any means. 948 max dmg, sac of 71. I even had my focus crystal effect (from a village quest) which I usually save for fighting jedi. He ended up sending me to the cloner when my mind pool finally emptied. I still have the mission though,oddly enough, so I will try him again tonight. I bought a bomb droid thing. Never used one before, but I obviously need more damage for this one.

what i do when i get a boss i hate them as they are soo hard and dont drop anythign good. is find ome nearby mobs n run to them he will aoe and aggro them sooner or later adn this maeks the fight sooo much easier

I've been getting bugs a lot off of top marks...

here's my last three bosses.

Level 82 Boss with 34899 HAM...
Jar of bugs...

Level 82 Boss with 32k HAM
Jar of bugs...

Level 82 Boss with 19k HAM....

lol, I typically don't look at their heatlh anymore (first 40 I did) and last night I ran into a 35k health boss. It was funny because I didn't have any food what so ever. I just noticed my first 1.2k shot didn't move the health really at all. At that point it was root, take all food, snare/kite, d.stance, while using stims/healing. It was a fun fight and it caught be by surprise. Typically I kill the NPC's before they even hit me once but these bosses are pretty fun.....well up until you loot the corpse to find a jar of BUGS!

I had one of these marks, he was so tough, i had about 5 tries , used my 2k health buff, 900 mind buff, ate all my food wore my best armor, and psg, could not get him below half health before my mind ran out, his health recharge rate was abnormally fast that was the problem, as well he was not taking much damage off even a more powerful gun, in the end i had a jedi constantly healing me, and it even drained his pool, hgowever i did get some nice loot 165 max dmg power cells, a nice CA and a smuggler tool, so it was worth it in the end

I fought my hardest boss last night, 35k bugger, had no health buff crystal, and am bh/smuggler. Thank god for concussion shot... but the fight still lasted 30 minutes, my doc buffs wore off, my spice wore off and nearly killed me... but I killed the bugger and got... a reactive micro plating.... wow...

I have fought plenty of bosses. I usually just get regular slicing loot, but my best 2 loots have still come from boss NPCs.

Last uber loot I got was all off one boss:

+16 Medicine Exp / +6 2h Saber Speed CA

Power Cells: 184 Damage

BH Armor Schem

Illegal Core Booster.

This is the 2nd time I have looted 4 nice items from one Boss. So I still love getting to my marks and seeing gold.

how do you look at the HAM of the mobs? i examine but it just says "looks like a tough fight"

to check his ham bar, put your cursor on his ham bar and the numbers will pop up.

I usallly dont have a hard time with bosses. Got 2 last nite. Last one I got gave me a run for my money. He was around 35K ham hitting fo 500-600. I used a driod for help. With that said he incap me twice and I killed him with about 300point on my ham left. It was a good 15 min fight all together. In the end it was a great challange and was very happy with the loot. I looted a warm hat and a casing with 5 units of 186 max, -.75 speed and -8cost.

I haven't had any problem with bosses until last night. Why, because I gave up MR and one of the lvl 4 boxes for jedi skills. So now I'm a lvl 78. Both bosses were long drawn out fights. My action bar was zero. He knocked me down constantly. But with food and drink running, including ruby bliel, I was able to heal while my action bar regenerated. I am still CM 4XXX and have incredible healing efficiency. I'm afraid though that if I drop anymore levels I may not be able to beat these guys.

Just to update what happened the next day. I went to try this boss again, i get there and the guy is there (same name, same place) only now he's not elite, just regular, and he's level 0. Stll got my 30k for the kill but I found it odd. Unless thats what happens if npc mark sends you to the cloner.
