Hello all,
I have a scatter full modified to 999,08 dps with 0,4 speed (speed pupd) but is it useful to powerup with a speed pup ?
I read before the cap is 1,7 someone else said 1,2 and lower is useless.
Thanks for answers.

There is no speed cap when using a PU or Doc buffs.
The cap is a crafting/slicing cap which would be the base stats (I believe is 1.72)
If your speed says .4 speed (which mine is also below 1 with a speed PU), you'll just fire very fast lol. I do believe the only cap is firing once a second (unless someone can show they fired twice in once second with a .5 or less modified speed)

Don't remeber what a crafter can make as lowest on speed but when you get all your modfiers in place you can only shoot 1x per second. Anything lower is pointless. SOE If I remeber actually said at one point that 1 second was the cap.

well when it comes to choosing PUPs its all a matter of prefernce.. on my rifles i get SAC pups on my carbines and pistols its speed/power since i can pop off those qucik shots like crazy.. and i'm sure if you have a pistol with a .5 speed and you used the basic marksman shot you could put off 2 a second.. but its the specials wih the longer warmup/ooldown times that give you less than one shot per second... yet speed does make a BIG differnce.. anyone whose ever been into a fight where its down to the wire can assure you of that (last jedi i fought died when i was down to 236 health and drained on action and mind..that was a fun 45 min)
