Thread: NPC Kills from 50 meters?

I had an Boss mark kill me from about 50 meters tonight. But the wierd thing is that it was my first incap, and there was no kind of timer. It was instant death.
Has anyone else expierenced this? Is it normal?

NPCs can also shoot while swimming and beat my 65 rifle ranged with a pistol.

Im a MBH/MRifle/CM 4000, and untill tonight I never had a problem with Boss Marks. But this particular Boss was doing an amazing amount of damage. It was as if I was wearing no armor at all. The Boss even did an area attack and made a few Voritor Lizards attack him at the same time I was, and between me and the Lizards, we barely even dented his health. But The Boss sure was dishing it out.

Had the same issues. I got took out three times by a NPC level 80. I am a Level 80, MBH, MR plus a great template. I was getting hit a 65 m with a pistol. He was doing 130 dmg, I was doing 780 on some hits and he was dropping me like a rock, and I hardly budged him. I cloned after each kill and had to come back. The fourth trip, he was a 1/4 health. I ws full. He almost killed me again, but I finally got him. I recived 1200 credits loot...THAT WAS ALL!! What is going on with this game???

Or perhaps he was using a kinetic weapon and you were wearing high energy, low kinetic armour?

is your armor borked? this happens to me sometimes.. gets low and i dont realise it

did he have a cyborg arm?
Maybe it was the ranged d/b lol
