Thread: Quick and easy Padawan killing
In general for Carbineer BHs,
PvP+PvE Kiting; adv(or any)suppression fire can be used on top of imp crippling shot to briefly further slow down the target and increase distance. For kiting groups(melee or melee with limited range attack)you can use your best suppression fire and imp crippling shot on any one target that gets too close.
Many don't consider Carbineer's KD, Imp charge shot ,either. It does almost thrice the damage of underhand shot and has a forward moving animation that works even when rooted. If for some reason you are prone and want a fast KD, or miss with charge shot when standing, then use underhand.

Okay, for all of you Bounty Hunters who want to be a good fighter against a Padawan, by not having to waste much needed skill points on medic abilites.
There are many factors that contribute to the death of a Padawan of any level. Healing is one of them, but you can do that with a few crates of Ruby Biel and some packs of good Stim Ds. The man thing is keeping your distance but it also very much depends on your template. Pistoleer Bounty Hunters tend to do poorer becasue they need to be close range. Carbineers and Rifleman excell at killing Jedi for various reaons. They have very powerful attacks, and they have farther range.
I haven't proven this so I don't know for sure, but I do believe a Padawan can only throw his saber a max distance of 35 meters. Always when I was out of that range when fighting a Padawan with Master Light Sabers they for some reason did not throw their saber so I am just assuming on that part. A good root and snare will help a lot while you are dealing out heavy damage with such attacks as Critical Shot, Sniper Shot and Leg Shot.
Well moving on, speed and accuracy make a tremendous difference. The more speed and accuracy you have, the faster you can pump out well aimed shots that can wreck a Padawan's health pool. Yes they can heal, but if you keep doing powerful shots, with a mixture of knock downs the battle will go in your favor quite easily.
I fought a quite skilled full template Jedi recently and I was only at level 65 and I was giving him a run for his money. My shots were really dishing out some heavy damage and I kept my distance. He ultimatly won but that isnt the point, the point is learn from your battles so you can win the war.
The better the speed, the better the accuracy and the more powerful the shots, the faster you will take down a Padawan.
About 3 months ago I had a very good template (Master Bounty Hunter, Master Combat Medic, Pistoleer 0004 with some skill points left over to get some Force Senstitve Abilities) however, I lacked accuracy and most importantly speed. I could take out Master Defenders and just about everything else quite easily but sometimes I would have to make a run for it, which I hated doing.
I highly suggesthaving a template with a general ranged speed of 65+ and with a general ranged accuarcy of 200+. Nearly all of your shots will hit and you will have a great speed advantage.
Now some people are skeptical and are like, but I ownPadawansI have Combat Medic 4000 and I never loose. Well yes but you will notice that sometimes you miss shots and that your recycle time can be quite prolonged. Now I know from experience that it takes a lot of skill to heal in battle, pay attention to your action, keep the Padawan at bay and over come. But I mean you can do the same thing with stims and you can be much faster and accurate.
I have pwned Combat Medic Bounty Hunters in PVP... just follow my steps and you will do good.
just wondering what your current temp is to get 65+ general ranged speed 200+ acc and keep CM4/x/x/x. That must included SEA right ??
The better the speed, the better the accuracy and the more powerful the shots, the faster you will take down a Padawan.
Always useful when ppl post their formulae for succesful hunting, thanks.
And of course as low an SAC on the guns as possible helps, if you are pumping out shots you don't want your action to run out. SAC powerups on damage capped weapons, foods of choice for action regen.
Also kinetic weapons help, bypass those PSGs. My main weapon atm is a Feather FWG5 with 966 dam, +66 accuracy bonus, speed 1.86. Its SAC is 72 but I can live with that until I find a better one.
I also use a DE-10 for looks and NPC kills, its 2.1, 365-943, +66, 73 SAC.

I have a template that does not have CM 4. The most accuracy and speed you can get with a template that has CM 4XXX is General Ranged Speed of 60 and General Ranged Accuracy 160+. Which is to be serious, average. Master Marksman is almost a must have for a good accuracy boost. My old template was Master Marksman, Master Bounty Hunter,Master Carbineer, and Pistoleer XXX3. That gave me a nice root, a good snare and heavy damage output. My Accuracy was 200 and my speed was 70.
Then I changed my templates becasue seriously to be honest, most of the Carbineer attacks are not needed such as all the area attacks you get. So I changed to Master Marksman, Master Pistoleer, Master Bounty Hunter, Carbineer X3XX. This gave me Improved LegShot which is an excellant attack. Plus gave me a a decent snare. My General Ranged Speed was 75, and my General Ranged Accuracy was 215. But for some reason it was easier for me to take out a Padawan with Master Carbineer.

My GRS is like 45 and my GRA is around 95, so I suppose I should ask: Is there a food capable of increasing my GRS? Or will I need to find some CA/AAs?
(I'm MRanger/MBH/SL 0300 just so you know how I manage such a horrid stat-range as a lvl 80)

All jedi in the game currently are only padawans.

Well it depends what you are interested in. If you are interested in PVP, drop ranger (though it sounds like it is becoming more pvp like.) And drop squad leader.
Obviously that works, but I meant alternatives to that (should've said so, heh). I'm never dropping Ranger, but I assume there aren't any other alternatives to increase speed beyond the attachments to armor/clothing.
Seriously, anyone that talks like this is an idiot. And you made a guide to kill the weakest kind of Jedi? Good job? Currently without a FRS you can only be padawans, but I dont think you knew that, I think this guide actually targets newer Jedi.
