Thread: What Armor should I use as MBH/MCM?

Hi,
I recently got back to SWG and respecced to Bounty Hunter. I´m constantly improving my Jedi hunting skills, and even though I´ve lost all my fights so far I feel I´m slowly getting there. I´ve read alot of tips here and I´ve bought myself a decent Scatter Pistol, alot of great food, I always get good buffs before I hunt. Now my last thing I really need to improve before standing a really good chance is Armor.
My Template is MBH/MCM and Pistol 0003 so Recon armor is out of the question I guess. Currently I have a padded armor with 6500 Kin/Enrg that is UnSliced. What kind of armor are you seasoned BH Vets using, what stats and what is the recommended slice?

I´ve read some other posts/replies to ppl asking about MCM/MBH and armor etc. And I keep hearing they should invest in an 8k Energy suit, but isn´t it only Recon armors that have that? If so, why should a MBH/MCM use it?

Quad energy layered Battle Armor. You can get 7k energy easy.

yeah i just bought a set of tantel with 8k energy, and like6k other stats, i still need it to be armour break sliced,

i use padded battle armor with 7k energy protection and get it sliced to 75% protection against armor break.
cost 1million credits. got the slicing done for free.
i got some nightsister shards on there too giving me +120 health bonus too.but most of that armor is wrecked now so i got new armor - RIS armor.
same energy protection. i dont have health bonus's though but RIS is capable of +350 health bonus so thats the best choice, but its pricey.

battle armor,armor break reduction sliced but your going to have to spend another 2 mill on that
