Yup...
I was a trando... and got to like level 14 then realized the nerf and restarted a 'human' account

Sometimes you can get loot off of npcs that are called 'Clothing Attachments" (CA's) or 'Armour Attachments (AA's) these are known as SEA's (skill enhancing attachments) in general. These SEA's give bonus's to certain skills like 'rifle accuracy+6' or '2 handed lightsaber speed +3'. These ar eplaced in 'sockets' and then when you wear that item, you get the bonus's listed in the SEA.

not to hate on you, but how did you become master bh and master smuggler and not know this? you need to spend a little bit of time getting to know this game better. not because of your question, the forums should be a place where somebody can ask any question without hesitance, but because you lack some basic general knowledge. this lack of general knowledge is going to hold you back unless you catch up.
What are you talking about my comp boots and gloves have 4 sockets

i'm not really knocking on him. the spin group is more of a player invention, and not really relevant unless you've been grinding with jedi. i'm just surprised to reached double elite combat skill master and never learned about CA and AA
btw Mithrilman, even though comp botts and gloves have four available sockets, i've always preferred clothing boots and gloves. that way you can always wear them no matter what prof you go
