Thread: Investigation Line Only?

The template I am currently working towards is MP/MS/???. I was thinking of adding BH4000 for the duelist stance and the mission content. My questions are
1.) How useful is duelist's stance?
2.) Will I outgrow the content from the investigation line by not going all the way to MBH?
3.) Can you get the high end smuggler loot from just the investigation line or do you really need to be a MBH?

thats interesting, i think if your an MBH you have a better chance of drawing a 'boss' mark i think i read somewhere but yah thats interesting thought i would like to know this for myself

Hmm ... so maybe I need to ask a different question. What does the +1Bounty Mission Difficulty that you get at master give you? It looks like you get +1 at novice, another + 1 at Investigation II, and then a final +1 at master. Do people notice a significant difference in the mission difficulty and loot rewards between having +2 and +3?

the mission difficulties just make the npc missions harder..when u get MBH then u hunt jedi ... im confused, is htta what you wanted to know?

The +1 from the Master gives you the ability to make every mark you draw an elite mark plus the chances to draw a boss mark in addition to jedi hunting. Boss marks and Jedi marks are restricted to the Master box.

I did get some good loot at BH 4xxx. I haven'tlooted better at MBH, I think because I was focusing on completing missions to complete the Investigation branch I just lost track of the number of mission I completed. So BH 4xxx should be enough with your template but I would include healing in there, just in case. At MBH you get Elite Boss (double gold chevron) marks which are hard (30k'ish HAM). Maybe there is a significant improvement in loot quality from these, I just haven't found it yet.

Thanks for the replies everyone. It sounds like just getting BH4000 would get me what I am looking for - i.e. high enough level BH mission content to make the expenditure of skill points worth it.
