If i have cover, counterattack, dodge, and block (different defensive abilities of different weapons and professions), will all of them work even if i am not using the profession's weapon?
Will counterattack work when using a pistol or cover work when using a carbine, ect...
Thanks for any and all replies

This isn't particularly a Swordsman question but since I'm a Swordsman, I thought I would ask it here.
By all that I have read, in the new combat system, terrain will play a big factor in combat. Does this mean, when aggro'd, if I run behind a building to where I lose site of the aggro and then say weave behind a few other buildings losing my target, he will lose aggro on me? If I run up and over a mountain top and hid behind a big tree, and he loses sight of me (he doesn't see me hide behind the tree) he will lose aggro on me?

well, i was kinda hopeing it meant that black sun assasins couldnt nail me with a T21 strafe shot through a mountain top when i was running from them. You know how projectiles are, long as your in range, they can shoot through the side of a cliff and hit you...

Hi,
If I'm facing the oppsite direction as my target, my back is towards my target, can I still attack them?
If so, does it work for both Melee and Ranged attacks including Light saber attacks?
Thanks,
Me

Yes. The first time you do it, the animation will show your attack hitting the target even through you are facing/running/walking the opposite direction. The following attack will cause your character to automatically turn and face your target.

Darn, I was hoping that wasn't the case.
Are we still glued to the ground, or can we jump yet?
Thanks
