Is this even a possibility?

For the purpose of looting weaponsmith items, I was hoping this would be do-able.

So the actual question is, can u kill and loot successfully with only MBH skills?
Or are Secondary combat skills and healing skills the only way to be successful?

Template wise, yes its possible. Good idea, not really. The rate at which the Weaponsmith componets drop is low enough, you wouldn't have much crafting.

The real problem would be your low CL which would prevent you from fighting level 75-80 Bosses.

I imagine it wold be fun to make your own guns, but I think you'd have a much harder time in combat since you won't have another elite combat class. However, its all about having fun. I'd be curious to hear how it pans out.
