Most Jedi hit me for about tops 400, with the power strike of about 600 or 700. I fought a jedi yesterday who hit me consistently for 800 with a few 1000 wacks in there. I have been hearing/reading alot about possible overloaded sabers, etc. Does this sound like it may be the case? Or is this fairly common damage?

I was wearing perfect Ubese armor and was loaded with foods too. Thanks for any tips!

Armor break plus high damaging attacks. I don't have a perfect saber but it's close. With armor break I can hit for near that much.

Get your armor sliced for armor break at lvl 4. Most i get hit for with my armor sliced for armor break is 700ish

It is legit. He more than likely has a good saber. Most jedi you will face now have complete crap for sabers due to the horrible tunes that have been consistent since the cu. But every now and then you will run up against someone who has a great saber.

Three Words Here, "Pre CU Saber".I have one as well as many others. The damage on a Pre CU is much higher than that of a Post CU. It's either a Pre CU Saber or a Post CU With all Pre CU Pearls, which is very possible. A saber of that calibur can even hit for up to 1400 point power attacks. Just be ready for those type of jedi cause you never know who they might be until you attack em, and by then it's usually to late.

Hehe ya Dejin. It was too late. I spoke to a master jedi on my server that knows my mark, he said that the guy is pre-cu, so more than likely has flawless pearls in his saber. No way to tell until its too late.....thats the risk involved

That is probably the first saber loaded with pre-CU pearls that you encountered. Perfectly legit. I would suspect overloading if you get hit for more than 1.5k while being armorbroken and knocked down. Good pre-CU sabers hit for up to 1500 if you dont have AB-sliced armor and get ABed and KDed.

Hmm, were you attacking me on Naboo last night near Moenia? I was hitting a BH pretty hard there last night and my saber is perfectly legit. I can hit them over 1k easily.

i had 2 diffrent fights lately both had same template one was hitting me for 400 the ohter 800 first guy i won 2nd guy he won

its all about the sabres no wonder jedi spend so much on them

What is the component need for this sort of slice? Mandalorian Interframe?

mando intraframes are for the lvl 4 slice

trando for lvl 2

and i think some toolkits sprnkled around somewhere as well - not sure on those.

maybe the smugglers forum has more details.

Do you have Armor break slices?

A Jedi with a 700+ damage saber will hit you that hard. Only reason why a lot of BH's think these are exploited (for the most part they are not) is so many new Jedi have such gimped sabers lol.

**not saying there are not exploiters but I bet more often than not you just had the unfortunate luck to run into an older Jedi with a nice saber**

This just shows how much the Pearl drop situation needs to be fixed.

Some BH's are so used to the LOW damage Post-CU pearl Loaded sabers that when they run into someone who has Pre-CU Pearl Loaded sabers they think it could be an exploit.

Also a bit disturbed about the other thread where that one Jedi was killed in 3 shots.One of the posts in that thread had stats for a Rifle where it's minimum damage was higher then my Sabers Maximum. I do have pre-CU pearls in my saber not all perfect but 105 is the lowest one with the others all over 110. That to me is a bit disturbing but oh well I have fun and that's all that counts.
