Thread: BH/Jedi Template question Does cloak work ?

The Jedi order should dismiss you.. bottom line this is not a star wars creation but a swg and to me a Jedi hunting Jedi should put a disturbance in the force and the ranking Jedi masters should dismiss you. This is also in the same form as Hunting the same faction its durty and most of all itsnot Star Wars ... its SWG.
I play to RGP Star wars you know that movie ?? I don't play Planet side/WOW/Everquest..

A hybrid template looks like fun, and I've been playing with the idea a bit myself. However, as has been mentioned, you give up an awful lot just to have a few little tricks. Basically, you need to be a full template jedi to have access to all the things you need to effectively PvP(Damage,Armor, Healing). For every trick you pick up with a jedi line(cloak, force drain, force run) you give up at least some of one of those PvP essentials. With some experimenting you can put together a template that mitigates some of your losses.However, the simple fact is, you won't be as strong as a full template jedi, and possibly not even as strong as a non-jedi BH.
For example, I wanted to pick up enhancer 0004 to go along with MBH/CM4404. Force drain seemed to be a natural addition to the CM abilities designed to wear jedi down. Good damage with BH specials, nice healing with CM, lots of dots and force drain to slowly wear a jedi down. But no armor. So any jedi doing decent damage will likely kill me in a few swings of the saber, thus making all that "wearing down" pointless.
So if you can find a template you enjoy and think will work well with your playstyle, by all means, go for it. And if you just want to make jedi go "what the heck?", then a hybrid might be fun. But if you're doing it to be the ultimate BH, it probably won't work out.

Who the hell are you kidding here? Vader hunted down Jedi. The Emperor's Hand's hunted Jedi. There are 2 Sith, no more, no less. Master and Apprentice, so says the great Yoda. Anyone else is considered Dark Jedi and were hunted as well. Very few Jedi actually escaped. If this guy wants to RP himself as a BH that is "in tune" with the force, then let him. If he decides he wants to be one of the Emperor's hands... then let him. There is no rule book saying he can't role play his character how he choses.
I'm Imperial and I role play that I am part of the Imperial Inquisition. I hunt Rebel and Imperial Jedi. Bounty Hunter is merely the closest thing to what my skill set would be if I were really part of the Imperial Inquisition. I fight and kill for the glory of the Empire. How about this... you play your character how you want to, and everyone else can play how they want to. Faction or not, it is a choice that is given to us, so stop crying.

I read on the jedi forums that the next patch will basically not allow hybrid BH/JEDI to use any jedi skills without either being barehanded or having a LS equipped. If you equipt a rifle etc..you cannot use any force heal.

Yeah, but at this point in SW history, this is NO JEDI ORDER, there is only one Jedi and he is hiding in a swamp.
Jedi hunting Jedi? *Cough* Darth Vader *Cough*
The only reason there are Jedi in this game is so SOE can turn a buck. Myself, I support the No Jedi Server concept.
Sure my char is Force Sensitive, but I found the whole Village concept to be quite silly. Let me get this straight, I am supposed to go to this village and learn to be a Jedi from CPT whats-his-name in Composite Armor? No Thanks.

But don't you first go threw Padi training with a repersentitive from the Jedi order before this toongraduates from histrainer LS ?
Sorry I am kind ofjust thinkingof all the jedi and bh and same factional huntinggoing on its hard to figur out who is a friend or fo..again swg and SW issues .. = Jedi withissuessorry if I seem lit dense on the Jedi order .. you do make a good point at this area is there a jedi oder at all ??? 
Crying ? LOL guess it might seem like it but .. I am just getting confused on what really is going on .. guess just give me my game and I will shhh up .. about time lines and story lines .. all in all SW is one big complex world..
