Hello folks,

As title says, I want to regrind BH from scratch (no respec'ing). I have already grinded BH in the past, but Im failry new to the CU so Im wondering a few things:

First off my current template is:

Medic 0/1/0/4, Marksman 0/0/1/4, Scout 4/0/0/0 and some non combat stuff that I will be droping eventually.

Im thinking to go Master BH, Master Carbineer and CM 4/0/0/0 for the healing.(is this good? or is pistoleer better?)

My questions are these:

How do I start the grind? as a low level marksman what gun should I be using to level, Im currently CL14

also what armor should I get for this level?

Now I know I want to go carbineer but is there a root special in there? or is the root special in Pistoleer?

If someone can pretty much point out what steps I should take from noob to full template it would be great. OR, If there is a post that already mentions this if you can point me to it. I have been reading the BH forums but without search I havent really found the info Im looking for.

Skip the investigation line of BH. Once everything else is leveled you can go back for it. Leveling weapons trees first is probably best.

Hey glimmer,

Have you read all the stickys? They are packed with all the answers you just asked for.

However I will try to answer some of your questions:

If you want to master carbs then you should be using the highest CL rated carbine you can get your hands on. I think there is one that starts @ CL14. If I were you I would level the Carb line with leg shot first as this is a high damage shot. From that point I would level BH x444 because the BH specials are better overall than the Carb line. There is no root in MCarbs and SOE nerfed the snare shot a week or so ago. If you want the Pistol root you will have to pick up Pistoleer xxx3.

Your armor choices will be either assault or battle. Assault for grinding creatures and battle for taking out people. Go to Dantooine and get in a group of 8 and fight creature missions for as long as it takes. You will almost always have people there to level you and you will get the XP you need much faster than you would alone.
