I HATE THIS BUG!!!!!

I get killed by paddies with this bug, kill master defenders, full template jedis, but because all the paddies i fight KD me, i get the cannot KD recover while KD. they just take there dear sweet time slicing at me. I cannot take this! There is no update on its fixed, only rumors, can't they just say hey it will be addressed in so and so publish, would that be so hard? Sorry for ranting I know ill hate myself for posting this but god I AM SO MAD!

Here's all i cna do to help:

This problem affects all but hits some classes harder: CM very hard...here's the cause:

Moves have 2 cooldown timers: move cooldown and global cooldown.

In general global cooldown is 1 second. Some moves, like CM debuffers and dots change your global cooldown to like 5-6 seconds.

So here's the bug:

You go to attack using a move, due to lag, or just bad timing you are KD'd JUST before the move would go off. Then you are on your back and the game tries to execute the move. Well, since you are on your back it doesn' work. NO problems so far...but here's where the bug hits. Your cooldowns blow anyway both move and global. Now the move one just sucks for doing that move, IE: if you go to stopping shot (30 second move cooldown) you won't be able to use it again in 30 seocnds even though it never went off. However, the kd bug as its being called happens when a move sets your GLOBAL cooldown, (ie cm debuffs) while you get kd'd.

In quick terms: I go to do thyroid rupture, i get kd'd. "You cannot thyroid rupture while kd" or sometimes "you cannot attack". Global cooldown still starts as if move went off anyway...KD recover is on global cooldown. You cannot stand up for 6 seconds, but this isn't supposed to happen so the game kidna glitches hence seeing "You cannot kd recover while kd"

Best way to prevent: Try to know when a KD is due to hit you, most good jediw ill use them as often as possible. If you have a move with a long cooldown, try to not use it until you know you are immune to KD (about 15 seconds (maybe 30 butfeels like 15) after last kd you are immune)

Not a solution really, but at least it helps.

This has become the only way i die to jedi, so i really hope they fix it so I can hear more people calling me a hacker

as stated in an earlier thread using /dump oir esc and NOT spaming the kd button will work.. i have tested this and found that when i get this bug i remain calm typ /dump and hit the kd button again... doestn work then i will tap esc a few times and try again this always works for me

if it was justa queue issue, you wouldn't get "youc annot kd recover while kd"

it just wouldn't do anything.

The move is TRYING to work, but cna't...if it was a queue issue it wouldn't be trying.

Its a global cooldown issue, with moves firing their cooldowns when they shouldn't (ie: when the move doesn't actually go off)

If you spam it does mess it up...however...as i said..its all about your global cooldown...hitting escape or /dump doesn't do anything. Its all about your global cooldown timer. You may think ESC works but in reality while you are pressing ESC that global cooldown is just ending. You're just filling your time with hitting a button. It doesn't help.
