Thread: Best NPC loot yet from Boss mark.

Well after a lot of work and booster blue he went down and I looted him. A jar of foraged bugs. Reminds me of all the Elders I killed pre-cu only to get some heavy duty leather or some other lame loot. At least my tailor friends make use of the heavy leather.
Well, better luck next time I suppose.My armor took a beating, but that jar of bugs sure made up for it.
wow meeting the cloner twice? i had a buged mark where two of the same spawn 36k both hitting full damage and i still didnt die.

I have found I need help for healing on the big marks. I was getting elites and one boss at novice BH as I was still at cl 80 with msmuggler and mcommando. I had one spawn in coronet where I was taking my missions, and after meeting the cloner the first time and a 4th incap, I had a guildie with cm to keep me alive for this mark.
All I got from him was bugs and an ICB(i think) But im happy with any dropped slicing loot as I still have my msmuggler.
I have found though that the better loot comes from the marks with a ham between 6k and 18k
Gotta be careful with the ones that use kinetic energy weapons (or energy if for some reason you were using assault armor). Use a psg and run duelist constantly and it will help. If you get taken out quick, check the combat logs to find out what kind of damage you're taking and adjust accordingly. There are some that will switch damage type when they switch weapons. Had one that used a carbine that was energy, but closed in and switched to a kinetic pistol. I didn't like him much and I really hated him when all he gave me was a warm hat. With your template (same as mine) you shouldn't have too much trouble with any of these marks, including the 30k+ bosses. Also, check the condition of your armor and psg if you were already using one. Lower condition means more comes through.
And about the jar of bugs...I feel your pain, but atleast you made30k+ credits from it. Sure beats running a bunch of missions that payout 9k.
