Yesterday, I started to do some Jedi missions.. and needless to say, things didn't go so well. So,.. I am turning to some of you for help on this.. What is the best armor, gun, moves, etc.. to kill a jedi?

My temp is: MBH, MR, 0,0,4,0 Medic, Soon to be 0,4,0,0 in combat medic.

For armor, some people told me to use "Ubese" armor because it's good on energy protects. Then another buddy told me to use clone armor, so I did the quest lastnight and got it.

I am using a t21 rifle right now and also have the other weapons for MR and mbh at hand if needed.

The first thing I try and do, is get the jedi down on the ground, then bleed shot him, dizzy, and blind him.. then I use the crit. shots and then again keep tring to knock him down...

But, this not helping all that much,.. so thats why I am turning to some of you long time BH's for help. What CA's or AA's should I wear, etc..

Thanks for your help and I hope this can help me out a little..

I find dizzy and bleed very undeserving of their action cost, from memory the clone armour is not very good energy resists at all, definetely recommend good quality 8k plus ubese. Are you using any of you rifle specials instead of bh specials? you rifles are far more damageing.

The only rifle I am using so far is the T21 rifle and I have seen where other are using the Advance Lazer Rifle.. so maybe I will look at that too. I will also try out the armor you have suggested... so the bleed and dizzy shots are not worth it to use? If not what are some of the things you do then? Just knock down and crit hit?

My alt is a weaponsmith, so I can make about any rifle I need.. just need to find out what would be the best.. I guess I can even get out some of the tissues I have to make a gun too, but I am holding off on using them till I can get my CA's to be a 12pt.

What are the stats of your t-21?

Definitely wear Ubese...

there is a timer set to KD so once you knock down the jedi you can not do so again for a while...

try using advanced headshot... or initially sniper shot as it does the most damage..

Use a drink like deu. pyro to increase your ranged accuracy and thus your damage...

You also might want to look into getting your hands on a hig damage kinetic weapon. I think alot of jedi are still wearing PSG's which decrease the amoutn of damage done by enrgy weapons like the t-21. I had three battles with the same jedi last night each lasting well over 30 min becuase my energy weapon was not doing much damage. I was wearing down his force but he would just run around a building in circles with force run to regen force and then come at me again. If i had had a kinetic weapon like a dart carbine of a high capaicty scatter pistol of a fwg5 i might have done more damage and been able to kill him faster. he eventually killed my when he knocked me down and i got the "can't kd recover while kd" bug.

I usually start with the bleed. While the bleed isn't all that impressiveover time, the initial damage of the shot is almost as hard as adv crit shot. I don't have a root so normally I'm fighting close up. I will usually snare, then just alternate between adv crit shot and adv headshot, throwin in a blind if I can. I use bliel/stims to heal untilI can't drink anymore bliel. I'll drop some snowcake and my bacta heals will so almost as much as the stims. have some synth/protein wafers handy for when they knock you down and unload on you. You can stim while KD and you regen mind while KD as well. If I could get them halfway down or so then I'd switch to T21 and then KD, Startleshot, Adv Critshot. Now I finally finished the 0-4-0-0 CM part of my template so it will be interesting to see how the added DoT help improves the situation.

I normally use my scatter which has some awesome stats although I'm looking for a good kinetic weapon too. The T21 just costs too much action over a long fight even with SAC reducing PuPs. My scatter I can spam specials almost nonstop. Being that I fight in close most of the time, I'm now considering dropping some Rifle for some pistol lol....the grind neverends

Well, I will pick me up some of that armor then and try that.. I don't really know the stats on the t21 I am using but just off the top of my head I know it has a 104 SAC, and damge is up around 1108 with power up on it. The scatter pistol I have is around 883 or so with a 90 or lowr SAC. I would look but I am at work right now.

So, sounds like I should do the bleed shot and then stick to crit shot and advance head shot and then throw in a kd once in a while... does that sound about right?

remember that KD'd targets take twice as much damage, so when you KD you should prepare to couple it with at least one high damage attack. I use carbs, but I come in with KD/Adv critical then go from there. That will eat up a great deal of their Health in the first few seconds. Sniper shot is probably a good bet to for initial strike. You might try /cover then sniper shot, then underhand shot for the KD, then Adv crit, then kip-up shot then snare/root depending on what you have. That will probably eat half their Health or more if it all sticks. At that point though you will need to look at managing your action with the SAC you have on those weapons. I'm not sure if the warmup on sniper allows you to follow a KD with it.
