1.) If a jedi runs into the ocean for safety, pull out a Probot and let him beat the tar out of him. And yes, you can deathblow in water.
2.) When their green bar is less than 25%... Save your underhand for that moment. A lot of damage can be done.

1) use a surgical droid even if there dead u still get the healing bonus which is normlay about 45% more heals
2) another Water Tip bomb droids work in water
3) keep auto shot off so u can use startle/disarm more efficently
4) if your rifles when starting a alpha strike drink pyro while your doing your /aim after the alpha strike eat your crispic
5) always keep another spice out incase yours goes down
6) if u bump in to a Mdef just walk away the time it will take u to kill him u could watch the whole star wars triolgy or sixolgy
7) oobvious but ive done this a few tiems before the fight make sure u have a lot of stim sand pups on your gun

noobish question.... but how can you tell if someone is a master defender?

Well while you are shooting the sh1t out of them and their health bar doesn't move usually indicates this.
When they start licking you while you do it then it's probably a good time to start cutting your losses

the only real way to be certain somone is a Mdef before you attack them is to stumble upon them and notice they have the Avoid Incap buff icon. Of course if this happens you should wait till it drops then unload with everything you have

- if you have disarming shot, use it before heals, duelistic stance, state recovery
- finaly droids are usefull again, get a med droid
- have extra weapon pups available incase of a realy long fight.
- always be ready to re-food and re-drink
- ruby bliel is your friend, if you take it at the right time
- low filling foods are your friends, blob candy, bofa trea, spiced tea.... and they last a long time.
- for god sakes, get armor break reduction slice on head, legs, chest.
- don't trash talk, win or lose (unless you like getting hate spam and CSR visits)
- don't hunt same faction jedi.... (unless you like headaches and /addignore)
- do it to have fun and enjoy, win or lose, the adrenaline rush.
- don't get an adrenaline rush anymore...... try being a crafter.

1) always have a doc buff on as preparation for alpha strike
2)dismount/store your bike before attacking
3) kd them if they get picked up by someone else to knock them out of the car
4) snare/root them when they get low on health so they don't FRun/cloak on you and escape
5) stay within 20m if they're a cloaker
6) don't whine if you don't follow tip number 5 and they cloak/escape -- running the a valid tactic -- don't spam hate tells if someone does it to you...
7) face the fact that there is ALWAYS someone better than you on any given day. You WILL lose some fights.
8) be a good sport and show some respect in victory or defeat
9)don't begin your fight just as YOUR spice goes to downer, time your inital strike to let theirs occur during your first minute of battle or as you begin
10) don't go in guns a'blazin every time -- study your mark, if he's an overt PVPer he'll likely be over his head at some point that night
11) don't spam, plan your shots based on the situation
12) untilize buff crystals and uber foods on good marks
13) PRACTICE against guildies or willing pvpers -- they don't even have to be jedi to improve your skills.
14) don't talk to anyone about your mark while you're stalking them-- even if you think you've seen them at all the starports and shuttleports you've recently been through following the same wp updates (don't ask me how I know this)
15) avoid combat in cities if possible, terrain/buildings can be used against you -- know your surroundings
16) know ALL your special abilities and when to use them
17) consider some limited macros (like a DB macro) you want yours to land first
18) read these forums for tips, ask for tips even from jedi -- yes if they respect you they'll still help you.
19) do what you love
