I have searched...and can't find it.
Is there a nice companion droid to have when fighting NPC mission marks that are CL80 +?
The max on droids is CL30 (I was informed), so obviously that won't last long.
Does anyone use a droid besides a Bomb droid to aid in combat related activities?

I use a probot with 37xx health, 8000 armor, 110 med module, combat module, and auto repair around 22 rating. I love it... doesn't do a whole lot of damage, but it does attack fast and allows me to heal for more. Even if it's incapped, you can still benefit from the med module as long as you stay near it. You can also heal it with your healing skills. It wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it. Much cheaper than the guns and armor I have though.

How long does it last in combat, and how much does that med module actually heal?

It last the whole fight through most NPC marks. Usually makes it anywhere from 3/4 to all the way through boss fights depending on how much the boss uses AoE. I only have medic 0020, and I heal for around 1100 or 1200 with the droid near me. I don't hunt jedi, but you can probably figure out why already since I just said it... lol.
I could probably do ok without the droid too, but it does make the fight go faster and more smoothly. I used it before I did the respec also, I was TKM / Smuggler. Used it to help me solo Krayts... it would only make it through about 1/4 to 1/2 of the fight, but as long as I was near it it helped healing a bunch. Couldn't of done it without the droid, that's for sure. Talk to your local Droid Engineer, I'm sure somebody would gladly do a custom order for you if they don't have anything like that in stock. You'll probably have ot buy a Pet Vitality Pack every now and then from a bio-engineer to restore max health.
Oh yeah, and group with it, that way it benefits from your level.

That is what I was hoping for.
I am having one built like the one you have, and thanks for the info!

This is almost my same droid. Very handy. It gives just enough added DPS to make a worthwhile difference. Jedi often get frustrated and leave you and attack it. With a B. Toss or spray you can heal it quickly.
One added bonus is for those Jedi who like to swim the droid can be pulled in the water and attack.

If you're an mcm i would advise against using a combat/med droid. As i used my med+combat droid against marks and somehow it auto attacked and broke my mark out of paralyze, and he managed to kill me. For jedi i've gone back to using a simple med+storage droid, works a treat.
