So far the temps I have tried are:
MBH/MP / SL 0/4/0/4 :My favorite so far, wish i tried it with the CM healing line.

MBH/MC / SL 0/4/0/4 :My least favorite. Mostly due to the lack of a good kenetic carbine, my damage seemed too low.

MBH/MCM / Pistol 0/0/0/3 :Ineffective for me. My lack of damage output and missing alot of shots put me barely scratching the jedi.

MBH/MR / CM 4/0/0/0 :So far not impressed at all. I have both an LD-1 and a Fallan Hyper. Cannot seem to keep them out of saber throw range for more than a few shots.

Let me start off by saying i have not been terribly sucessfull with any of these temps. But so far, it seemed like the pistol temp was the best for me. Just curious to hear how some of you rifleman or carbeeners keep them out of saber throw range to use your temp to the fullest? Or how the MCM can keep the damage on while outlasting their force?

So far for me personally...with either carb or rifle, they alwasy seem to end up in saber throw range anyway!?!? So Im leaning to going back to Pistoleer. But I also remember that pistol specials seemed a bit weak. Just wondering if some of the jedi killing Riflemen, Carbeeners, CM's and Pistoleers can share some of your tactics. Looking for ideas before I regrind another profession. Anyone?

my temp is MBH/MR/CM4000 and i've killed a lot of jedi and managed to last a long time against full temps. I attacked two full temps last night, died both times but the first fight laster 20 min and the second fight was really three fights that lasted 45 min. I only died on the second mission because of the stupid "can't KD recover while KD" crap. During the second fight the jedi realized he could not really beat me so he would run and i would leave for a while and then come after him again. I almost had him too but the damn kd bug kicked in,

This template is pretty good in my opinion. I can dish out alot of damage from far off and with using burst run food and my snare move i can usually keep the jedi at bay for a while.

I have MBH/MCM/ Pistols 2001

The thing about the MCM build is that it isn't made for quick, explosive, kill 'em quick fights. It's built to kind of control the Jedi, and wear them down.

The reason I did Pistols 2001 was for warning shot, which increases dmg done. With a decent scatter, warning shot, underhand, Critical, torso shot will almost always result in two very good shots or more before they can get up.

my advice is don't bother for the DoTs unless going master. They just don't stick worth a damn. Until I mastered, I could rarely get one to stick on an NPC, and near impossible on a PC. Unless you want to spend tons of money on CAs or AAs

+25 Medical Warfare tapes are not very expensive. Just run NPC mark missions until you've found some good loot to sell. Once you have those tapes your dots will stick like an MCM.
