I wastalking to a new playerand he wondered how he could get mando armor, and i was surprised he wasn't asking how to be a jedi. But unfortunately i had to tell him the only way to get it was to be a full template jedi to deal the mobs in the DWB. And then i told him how the drops are like 1 in a million for the BH armor that you need to craft into the armor, and i dropped the bomb about having someone else craft it for you. Sad to say he agreed with me that its probably easier to unlock and grind full template jedi then it was to get a set of mando armor.
But it makes me wonder how come its so easy for common playersto unlock a profession that's 1.5 times stronger then everyone else but near impossible for normal players to get a set of not that amazing armor. Butoh well its not in the time line to have mando everywhere, but itsok for jedi whosay it isn't about the time line its about fun. Im not a nerd about the time line i could care less. The fact that most people in the game could hand vader his biscuits doesn't really bother me it's that some people defend their right to have fun but try to suppress others fun so they can have more fun. Infact i havent realy seen anything about mando or seen any of the armor in a long time is it just not a issue anymore does no one want it?
I'd love to have a suit of Mandolorian...... but unfortunately I also want to participate in the rest of the game. If I spent all my time either trying to loot the pre req pieces of BH armor or making money to buy it from somone, then the 9 trips into the bunker with two full groups of 8...... I'd never have time for GCW, or bounty hunting, or my guild activities, or FS unlocking, etc, etc, etc.
It's so amazingly time consuming it's ridiculous. Not to mention trying to get people to go on a dwb run

Lol ever play FFXI or WoW? SWG loot is frequent compared to those games where you wait 3hrs for a spawn competing with 30 other ppl and its a 1:5000 drop. Anyway i would love a set of mando armor for my BH but id rather spend that time/money getting better stuff like a jetpack or a 8k energy resist armor set. Mando armor looks way cooler than BH armor btw BH is to big and bulky looking

I've played WoW, and you still do get a form of loot about every kill. And the type of drop you're talking about is a dungeon drop, yeah those will always involve camping and praying. Play EverQuest or Asheron's Call.. but there is a difference between searching out mobs, and killing them over and over and over and over and over again hoping they even drop something. As to a spawn that pops in the same place consistantly.
Although the thing is, is mando armor even worth it.. all that work for armor that is probably going to suck more then battle armor, and look ugly (unless they changed the random color thing), then you couldn't use it until you ADK'd each piece. sheessh. you can buy a jetpack for like 25-50mil on myserver, rather have that then the armor.....
