i used to be MBH/MCM/0004 Pistols but i didnt do enough damage with a weapon so i switched to MBH/M-Pistols/4000 CM and it it isnt much better i deal pretty poor damage to NPC and players, I use an ADK'd 1.08spd/948 Scatter/59SAC(P-upd)/63 accuracy, a few decents AA's CA's and my mod dps is 600+ even with a 962 FWG5 i cant hit over 450 damage. As a MBH/MCM i used to use a Proton carbine, unsliced and would deal nice damage! and the extra range was nice..

The whole point of going Pistoleer was the extra spd, accuracy and defence but it doesnt make much difference to be honest. I know the Pistol defence CA's dont work and i tried it with a guildy, she hit me for the same with the boots equipt and unequipt, I think its time to change but to what i dont know! Ive heard Carbineer is better and rifles is a big damage dealer. Anyone got some ideas on how to improve Pistoleer or just drop it and go something else?

You can check out my posting called my decent temp for a suggestion. I have Master BH/Master Carbs/Master Marksman/Pistoleer xxx3

This is a pretty decent damage dealer. I have a good supply of Carbs CAs and AAs so that boosts me even more but I used a damage and sac capped carb with a full speed slice and I get a modified speed of .83 on it.(not that I necessairly achieve that number). But all in all it is a high speed and accuracy temp which can spam leg shot, body shot, crtical shot for good damage. The one thing others were saying is that there are no heals whichis correct but I do use ruby and stim ds. I only really hunt npc marks so thats not too much of a problem for me. Food for thought

Why is that scatter ADK'd? Thats not even a great weapon... I mean honestly that only thing that is semi-nice about it is the 63 acc which honestly doesnt matter if you use the range acc. drink.

Your problem is you dont have great equipment, not the that pistol part of your template sucks. What you need to find is a double capped sactter or FWG5 preferably damage capped and SAC capped with the closest to cap speed you can find. Then have it sliced for critical only, this will add to your overly damage (not on the stats but you will see a difference). I hit consistantly for 75 more points of damage not using a special attack and for over 950+ points when using critical shot... on a jedi

If you have any more question about this template just pm or post here, I've been playing it for a long time so I know the tricks to it.... get speed capped with AAs/CAs its important and also use a macro, by clicking you dont hit as fast as you could.

I could give you the info that a sac pup actually hurts your game play and that a speed pup or damage pup spamming ranged/ placed on any weapon will out damage one with a sac pup firing specials. I could also include that I have spent about 20 hours testing this stuff with all different types of weapons..

However I will likely get flamed ... by people who say I donot know **edit**... and just have to live with my pvp rating over 1580 from only jedi marks, and never having been incaped and maybe healing 1 or 2x tops with a boss npc using what I stated above, with my BH alt

I think it depends on your playing style. I like all three pups from time to time but the problem is that Jedi fights are so random now you cant pick the correct one beforehand.

You have your Master defenders, and then you have people who absolutely dont have any defenses what-so-ever. Sometimes damage pup is better and sometimes speed pup so you can just get it over with.

SAC although it doesnt really excel in any areas... for long drawn out fights, you get substained damage that you can count on.

MBH/MP/CM4xxx is my exact template. Yes, you don't do a lot of damage with each shot. But over time you'll be equal to or do more damage of other classes. Your template's built-in healing allows you to last. I love this template.

May the Force be with you.

just make ranged shot ur auto attack. Use intimidate shot and warning shot to keep him stated (intimidate lowers his damage 20%) (warning lowers his defense 80pts) throw in some critical/torso/quickdraw for damage (dont spam this though because he'll become used to your damage) and just outlast his force. when he runs, root, KD, kill.

Right now I'm MBH/Mrifles/4000CM and I am having trouble making any damage per shot. I only average 246 points of damage per shot. PSG and force aura is a real powerful combo. I also use a scatter pistol that does kinetic damage, but it is about the same because it is less powerful than my t-21. So BH's are just plain out matched.

T-21

1183 max damage (without pup)

1.47 speed

556 dps

82 sac

Scatter Pistol

916 max 1056 with pup

417 dps

72 sac (I think, not for sure, maybe less)

I think that you need to spend enough time with a template to work it out before changing -when working out your temp sometimes the grass always seems greener on the other side! Me - I love pistols.Trick with pistols is toinflictmore damage over a period of time rather than in single shotsand I can assure you that if I am in a hunting group I will most often get the aggro based on the overall damage output. I would recommend you stay with pistols until you yourself have learned and tested out the temp to be sure its not for you, rather than look for others opinions cos what works for me or anyone else might not for you.

Good luck!
