One of the things that is ruining the game for me is all this inter-player hatred.

It is mainly the BH and Jedi who are responsible, so here is a short message to all the BH who love to boast about "Come and fight me and I'll send you to the cloner faster than you can say Boba Fett, because I have killed a zillion jedi and never lost and I'm so cool", and to all Jedi who go on about their uber sabres, and never losing to BH and being PvP kings. The whole "My gun is bigger than your gun and I'm amazing" thing.

Guys, this is a game. You are not BH and you are not Jedi. You are simply using a mouse to move a load of pixels around on a screen. You may be very skilled at moving your pixels around, but this does not make you anything more than Uber Pixel Pushers. Its a game.

Just a game.

You don't know that I'm not a BH.

One and All,

Welcome to the world of PvP, this is why PvP in general is very flawed. One class will have an advantage over another and they will want quote "Balance". Ther were quite a few beta tester's way back that warned that PvP in any form will gradually wear the game down with class balance issues. It is here that everything is breaking down over time, look at all the development and resources spent on the PvP aspect of SWG. It dominates the entire playing field with all classes even the crafting professions, the only place it does'nt affect is space and the hardcore pilots are not wanting the BH/jedi confrontation in space.

PvP rips games apart because the PP (Power Players) wether they be PvE or PvP will shred a game apart, with organized guilds they are more like army any dismembering a carcass. It's only a matter of time before it is devoured. It is the state of gaming today and many will look at how SWG was consumed and what not to do, and in time I doubt you will see PvP in any form in future realms.

To fix this mess is gonna require some serious gammers who are adults and can look at the entire system and see where to trim and modify so that in the end , our pastime or hobby is more enjoyment than work or whine. The clock is ticking very loudly, I'm just not sure there is anyone in the office who is going to listen, engineers and designers treat their work like it's their child and noone outside of themselves should have any input as to how it should be raised or developed. Luck to you all, Im just gonna keep grinding my CA/AA/BHschems/weapons because I'm a pack rat by nature and I have a nice weapon wall too...chuckle
