Thread: New tracking bug? Target offline even though they are online?

Is anyone else having this problem? I just started noticing it. I am tracking the target, and all of the sudden it says a system message, "your target is offline" or something to that effect, even though it shows them online in my friends list.

I know our tracking is being tinkered with. If a target is in space, it no longer says what space they are in either, but says some generic term now.

Please fix our bugs!!!!

BTW, I am a staunch supporter of most of the new changes.

No jedi names, Good

Shows faction on terms, Good

Doesn't show full payout on terms, Fair

Doesn't show names till you are at the target, Bad, should show sometime earlier

Need Master Bounty Hunter to get Jedi missions, very very bad, ruins creativity with templates.

Friends list bugs alot.
It will say I have friends list online, but when I try to send them a tell, they are really offline.

Try toggeling yourfilter that says something like "Show online friends only", sometimes that refreshes and updates the list, at least in my experience that is the case.

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, 'How can we do this and not make another EQ?' We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen." - Julio Torres

This happens when they are in space...

Sometimes you will in fact get the "Your target has been located in space_dantooine_" ( or whatever it is )
