Thread: Why would they make it Insasnly unfair?

Ok, im a BH, and I like fighting uphill, but i dont like fighting uphill when i dont know who im fighting.
Jedi already have an advantage, why give them more? is SOE just a bunch of jedi making it better for themselves?
I don't care what jedi think about pub 19, pub 19 pretty much didnt exists because everytime i fight a jedi he is still healing himself like he was before pub 19, so SOE idea of balancing that mistake was making another mistake? I quit WoW for this game (played this before wow came out) so when i came back I wasnt suprised, Blizzard is fairly new to MMORPGS but SOE should know better, everquest has been out for a long time and issues are generally the same with both games.
Im beginning to think that SOE just doesnt care about Star Wars...

I don't think they do. I hope Lucas Arts creates a real SW MMO. This game is Star Wars Jedi: Just forget what you saw in the films, this isn't them.
Thought the game was set in the period right after Episode 4. Or at least last time I checked it was. If I had known the game was going to be this, I'd have continued to be a SW fan elsewhere. This is essentially Jedi Knight 2 set to an MMO. I'm still waiting to see Kyle Katarn and Jan running around. SOE, you fools.

because more people want an easy route to jedi knight, hence they'll keep making it easier and easier to achieve that status. i believe that sony thinks in the long run it will get more pvers and people who wouldn't normally pvp, involved in pvp which will also increase the amount of time, and thus money, that people will invest in the game. soloing every mob in the game gets boring for a lot of people quickly, so they'll turn to pvp, which doesn't get stale for a long time for most people.people who wouldn't normally pvp aren't likely to up and decide to start pvping with their pistoleer/commando when they could get hands down the best solo pvp class in the game in 10 days or less while not being at the keyboard. bottom line is that more jedi equals more subscription fees coming in each month.

In the TV add's for SWG there are 2 Professions mentioned by name: Jedi & Bounty Hunter
Why? Because that's what a vast number of SW fans want to be.
I boughthis game to be a BH a LONG time ago. I hunted Jedi in full Comp. I was there when BH's were Gods, there when BH was Nerfed to @#$% and there when Jedi didn't exist.
Now I'm a Jedi and MBH (Alt). Why? Because I always intended to be both if I could. I even did the BH / Jedi Hybrid for a while.
All of that said, after Pub 19 it has NEVER been as easy at it is now to kill Jedi. A good Guildmate (I trained to be a Jedi Hunter) killed 5 Jedi in 5 hrs on theRyatt Trails, and he didn't even have one of the new "Uber-BH Templates" (3 Padi's & 2 FT's). Jedi is weak now compared to GOOD BH. Equip yourself with the right Weapons, the right Equipment, the right Foods & the right Stims and you will hand it to Padi's and take it to the wire with Full Templates.
As a Jedi I have never been beaten and the ONLY reason that is isn't because I'm Uber or a PVP God (well maybe in my mind), it's because as a practicing Jedi hunting BH I understand better than most Jedi the methods of the BH. Publish 20 may have some faults, but at the end of the day REAL Jedi Hunters will still have their cash in hand.
I intend to be that MBH.
