Thread: TC TEST RESULTS NEEDED: Seekers and names on Kashyyyk?
Bounty Hunter
* Seeker droids will now return the name of the Target
* Changed the name of the "imperial probot base" Bounty Hunter droid to “Imperial probot”
What I'm trying to find out is if there is any change to how seekers work on Kashyyyk. Since they don't give out the location, will they give out names if the mark is located there?
The questions are:
a) Will seekers return with the name of the mark even if the mark is on another planet?
b) Will seekers return with the name of the mark even if the mark is on Kashyyyk, and you are on a different planet?
c) Will seekers return with the name of the mark if the mark is on Kashyyyk, and you are on Kashyyyk too?
d) Do Arakyds perhaps give out the name too or is it really just a seeker-specific thing like the notes imply?

I'm not sure TC is back up yet. The patch notes were only posted an hour and a half ago, and we KNOW how long getting the servers up can take. =)

Alright, as we all know by now, these are the new TC patch notes:

You can only use a seeker when on the same planet as the mark, so I don't think this will work.
b) Will seekers return with the name of the mark even if the mark is on Kashyyyk, and you are on a different planet?
See the previous answer.
c) Will seekers return with the name of the mark if the mark is on Kashyyyk, and you are on Kashyyyk too?
Wondering about that one myself. Since Seekers "magically" don't work on Kashyyyk, will that part work?
d) Do Arakyds perhaps give out the name too or is it really just a seeker-specific thing like the notes imply?
An Arakyd Probe droid is not a Seeker droid, logic would imply that it wouldn't. But hey it's Sony after all, no logic to be found within 10 miles of their HQ.

Actually... you can use a seeker any time... if your not on the right planet you will just get a message "You targets Bio Sig was not detected on this planet"
So it may still give us a name now...

Is this a new change coming with publish 20 ? Cause currently you can use a seeker wherever you want.
Let me rephrase that: You can only use a seeker successfully when on the same planet as the mark
