Thread: do we need to adjust force run to prevent these jedi from running all the time?

for a little discussion....


no, i don't think force run needs to be adjusted in favor of us bh. that's part of the fun, the chase once they realize they might be in trouble. i just have my speeder on toolbar and the jedi targeted on chat (/target jedi) and when the jedi starts to run i pull out my speeder and 15 seconds later...well..or maybe 21 depending...i'm in hot pursuit. when i catch up i hit the speeder on the toolbar again and continue pounding.


the real problem that needs to be fixed is jedi running into houses. i don't even mind their friends picking them up in a bus (although i do think that needs to be fixed) i'll follow the bus for hours lol, but the prob is the bus takes the jedi to a safe house. i sure hope this problem gets fixed in the next publish, but let them have their force run, they're gonna need it

They are fixing the house hideing with jedi/bh tef now preventing access to a structure

ok cool, does anyone know if this will be a long lasting tef though, cause sometimes when they do run i have to pull out another set of seekers and it takes a few min before i can find them again. the tef needs to last long enough to be realistically effective. i'll check out your address there thanks

If I remember correctly, TEF is now 2.5 minutes.

hmm, 2 min from the start of battle or from the last hit the bh makes before the jedi starts running.... see my point, most jedi i fight will fight me for 10 or 20 minutes before they start to run.... if it's 2min from the point they start running i might be able to work with that wait, how long is that stasis attack agian....like a 30 sec or more? lol ok so 1.5 min to send a seeker out again to find them and then...oh...wait...how long does it take the seeker to pick up the mark again?....hmm lets make the tef 10 min from the last point of combat...then it has a point.


however...i'l take what i can get...yay 2 min

here is a simple solution to this lol, and maybe even more realistic. lets allow master bh a lockpick special with tools suplied by smugglers...


anyone...anyone? maybe a droid only mbh can use like a little r2d2 that can pick the lock? i mean if a droid can stop a garbage disposal, surely it can pick obiwans house lock

The fact Jedi cannot run into a house now is not going to be that big of a change. Now that this is the case, the Jedi will force run for 2.5 minutes until the TEF wears of THEN run into the house. Trust me.. there is little we are getting from this patch that is beneficial. Oh wait...there is nothing we are getting from this patch that is beneficial.
