Thread: Do I need to get my Mark's name before I can TAB them?

No, I just walked in there and started tabbing. If Jedi is fighting mobs, mix in with the mobs so they can't tab you easily. Just rambo it up. It saves on duel requests and running Jedi.

that happened to me last night ... my mark was in the middle of getting gang banged on dant by a major heard of Pickets. I was like oh ***** how am i going to sort through that mess...luckly the pickets thought the jedi was more tastier than me and i still got my bounty

I keep hearing that BH's are getting the name when they release their seeker droid. I haven't seen this at all. Anyone getting that?

I hunted a mark on dathomir last night and never got his name even after releasing like 5 seeker droids.......I ended up getting lucky as I tracked him down, he was alone fighting a mob.......and somehow once the fight ensued incapped me in one hit......never seen that before......it was weird......It said you have been knocked down.....while I was clearly standing...then incapped......I never even got a chance to fight as my actions never fired.......not sure what happened but I usually do pretty well against jedi.

There are no two options with seeker droids.
Track and seek.
It seems seek will take a droid off you (even though you never see it appear) and eventually you will get the name.
Track and you will the get the position.

"Seek bounty target" option on seeker if I remember correctly returns mark's name, but I like the idea of just going over there and guessing who it is.

Yes. It's not when you release the seeker but when it finds the target (use SEEK option for name). It's hard to see. It's at the end of the text that pops up from when target is found (1 to 3 minutes after releasing, I don't remember).
