Thread: Why failed missions should not get BH on the terms
You think we dislike them? Go read the love on the GCW and Smuggler boards.

Man I've had it with jedi whiners. They get everything handed to them on a silver platter at the cost of being hunted. They whine about a class that's been ignored by the devs for the last two years. Now that we're finally working (so to speak) you guys want us hunting ourselves because you can't handle it.
No wonder people hate jedi. You've gone from the permadeath extremely rare class you were meant to be, to being a dime a dozen. No matter how many of you we kill you keep growing in numbers. Jedi are a disease.

So you want to hunt w/o any risk of retribution. You want to just gank little paddy's. Thisis too good. And the old saying all Bh have said for a while, if you don't want to be hunted don't get on the terms. SoI hope you all get a taste of what jedi have gone through. With all the respec BH, it should thin your crowd so the good players stand out.
I love guys like you. Always smug in your assumptions that you haveeverything figured out. Alwayspigeonholing everyone elseas a sap and holding yourself out asspecial or elite as if nobody here has a Jedi or know anything about being one. The bounty system right now is an absolutejoke and it is just going to become more ridiculous simplybecause the new Jedi who can't hack it have cryed about it nonstop. Everything about becoming and leveling a Jedi has gone from extremely challenging to a completeand utter joke andmany of us know it firsthand because wehave already leveled one when it was actually hard.
Its all good though becausewhen non-Jedi missions and the extra PvP tier are implemented nobody will need Jedi anymore and you guys whoaren't up to the challenge can all go play with yourselves or craft or whatever. There isn't anything unique, special or remotely challenging about Jedi anymore and each time Jedi win a "victory" by makingit easier to level it becomes something less than what it was before. The funniest part of all of this stuff is that all of you wanted to be Jedi because it was so hard to do and so unique, but now it is about as hard as a marshmallow and unique as a cockroach.

Then explain to me why one half-grown padawan could take down multiple attackers.
Because the force was unusually strong in him... at least that was Qui-Gon's answer.Anyway, Bounty Hunters exist to hunt down criminals... not the other way around. Jedis are criminals in the eyes of the Empire and they rule the galaxy.. enough said. Putting BHs on the defensive will only serve toeliminate (or severly restrict)the only real threat to the Jedi there is in the game. So lets have the BH fighting each other and let the Jedi grind their way up to UBER-MASTER-JEDI unopposed.. now that is a real smart thing to do.Seriously, I am tired of theSWGdevs jumping everytime the so-called "elite" Jedi crybabiesstart taking a little heat from the common rabble. As far as smugglers go, I wouldn't mind seeing this (andchecking their profession forum, neither would most of them) added to the terminals. Smugglers are criminals and there should be danger aplenty in their chosen profession as well. Bounty Hunters are already in danger of being killed, everytime they accept a contract. It is so toally absurd to think that a bounty should be placed on a bounty hunter forfailing a mission. We are already invested in hunting a Jedi... price of droids, decays on weapons, hours of stalking the mark, and of course loss of bountyif we fail.
If the Jedi are crying, that just means that we are being effective and does not warrant some ridiculous profession "nerf".

Im gonna have to agree that if we dont get something in return we dont belong on the terminals. You become a Jedi KNOWING that BH's will be after you and there will be exp penalties but you also get to become the single most powerful character class in the game bar none. Also, taking the names and payouts off the terms is fine, as long as a group of BH's can take the mission. If I dont know what the level range of the mark is then im bringing friends, 'cause im not gonna beat a 220k+ mark by myself short of a miracle.
Yup. NOT what BH's signed up for. NOT the duty they chose. And they should get rewards relative to the risks.
