I vote no armor, only robes. I think we should be able to have tailors make some robes, and then let us 'tune' them :-)



Gives Tailors a good market and a nice way for us to individualise our wardrobe. Also means I can get rid of that damned red box around my padawan robe.

no way totally dumb when my jedi was running around in composite... i had absolutely no sense of being a jedi with armor on...


i think the padawan robes would be better if they had a hooded and unhooded cloak to go with them...


be clothing is a great option

i dunno, jedi armour could be more jedi only quest based, "abit like" the RISarmour quest (not as much rare stuff to make it maybe), more for looks rather than use

I'd love to see some special Jedi-only armor like in KOTOR -- would be a very cool alternative to robes. But I think they should add a number of new types of robes -- maybe 2 versions for everyone, and then several different types as quests that grant special mods (again, like in KOTOR).

A series of quests for alternative robes and an extra hard quest (bit like a combination of the hermit/ris armour quests?) for some Jedi armour.

If we did get special quest based Jedi armour, it should have a bonus to all defences (even force powers), but increase the force costs of all abilities.

no same bonus as robes, maybe better regen



for me it would just be a varient of the robes, i mean lets face it not all jedi have exactly the same robes in the films do they

New robes and more importantly, cloaks to be worn along with our robes would be great. Quests to earn old-style Sith battle armour would also be pretty cool, but really we have bigger fish to fry at the minute......

I think Jedi should not be wearing armor but the cloaks w/ hidden resists would be great. I like the color pallete idea someone had. Make it like the composite armor is with a color changing option. Also, a few more variants of robes/cloaks would also be nice.

I have to agree though that there are bigger fish to fry right now.

Id love it if there was specialist Jedi armour one set for Dark Jedi and one for Light to give the feel that we are warriors and generals AKA Episode 3 and not just old hermits AKA Episode 4.

Can anyone explain to me how armor works with Jedi? Can you still wear it? Does it stop you from using your force powers? Will it cancel bonuses, like the melee and ranged combat defence bonuses in the MFD tree? Thanks.

Ok, the defender line has melee and ranged defense. Since ranged defense is useless for someone holding a saber, is the jedi armor worth the points (20 points per line), or might the skill points be better spent in enhance for force armor?
