i know this temp has weaknesses..ALL do i dont care what anyone says...lol...but as a ranged dmg dealer..i think this would rock..granted with no healing...it kinda bites..but hopefully the combined defenses might help a little but here it is..Master Marksman+Master Carbineer+Master Rifleman+ x4x4 pistoleer...that leaves me with 11 SP left i believe...obviously for FS but how does this sound?...and i dont want to just hear how this would get owned by another template...My toon that this is for is almost solely PvE...

Well with only carbs you can solo pretty much anything anyway (personally not tried an ancient krayt, but have tried and done upto a great canyon with only carbs in the template at the time). Problem with the template is that you're copying a lot of the specials and to get full benefit of the template you'll have to change weapons a lot, there's no point in having master rifles if you never really use a rifle for example. Personally I'd stick to one ranged master and add bounty hunter for general ranged bonuses. Don't bother dabbling in pistoleer, go for master or nothing, again all you're getting is a bit of a bonus and stopping shot, which isn't needed at all with Carbines due to the reliable snare and KD we have.
One thing you might have to watch out for is lack of terrain negotiation on the template, might get sticky when battling up and down rough terrain.

yup agreed, go for the general ranged bonuses in bh and critical shot in the master box if you want to do major damage with a carb. im carbs/bh/pistols x4x4 tho i may change the pistols for some combat medic.

Well 0404 pistols does have somenice mods.
40 Melee Defense - Nice
40 Ranged Defense - Nice
Stopping Shot - Very useful for kiting.
40 General ranged accuracy - Nice
Improved Disarming Shot - Not that great at this level, doesnt last very long.

Thing with stopping shot, is that we have probably the best and most reliable snare in the game and if it fails you can spam suppresion fire then a knockdown to wait for the timer to allow you to snare him again. Defense shouldn't be too much of an issue if you're only in PvE, just don't get hit

I'm thinking of going MLS, powers 4400, enhancer 3402, healer 4000. Got some of the colorful beam fun from powers, dps from mls, 1500 heals, and force armor 2. How well do you think this template will work?

it seems like a decent template that is fun to play.. Remember get what makes it fun for you in jedi skills, not what everyone says you should have... If you like it, learn it and learn it good then you will be just fine.. But your template is a decent one

i'm thining of a MCM/master carbineer.
has anyone got any good or bad points about this template
i want a charc that can heal + fight hard and carb is the hardest i know of.
and CM is the better at PVE than doc.
any ideas about this would be helpful

I've said this before in several other posts but MCarbs/MCM is a great combo. I had it also tagged up with Doc 4000 or Doc 0004 (whether you want better heals or just buffs). Others have done great with using more in postols and what not. Either way my favorite was MCarb/MCM Doc 4000 for the bacta in fusion and the extra healing. Cabrs help out a lot and can keep enemies at a distant when needed. I rarely lost any fights.
However, I prefer melee and went TKM/MCM and love it to death.

I haven't tried it in PvP yet, but in PvE I do fine, mainly becauseI still hit 1400+ heals.
