Thread: Publish 21- White Conned Marks

I have had two.


The first was the day after pub 21 came out. He spawned in Mos Eisley and was untargetable. However, as I was picking up a new mission,


some noob started fighting him, yet he was still a white dot to me.



Second:


Planet- Corellia outside doaba Guerfel


Level- unknown


Date- 7 Aug in states (i am in Japan)


Time- Around 3:45 pm PST


Bounty Amount- around 31k


Galaxy- Chilastra



I sent a bug report, for what it's worth.

    3 so far all in the last hour and back to back. Even logged out and back in after the second one... only placing last one since I didn't record the other 2.(all on tatoonie, all same lvl range)

    waypoint 1754, 7, 3175


    Lvl unknown due to white con, but mission was CL 50, was a bith, amount 10616 credits for reward.

  • NPC level, species, bounty amount: CL 82 (mission was level 80) Rodian Male, 31218 Credits
  • Planet: Tatooine
  • Galaxy: Gorath
  • Time of the day (PST) and date: 12:40 am (CST) August 8th (9:40 pm August 7th (PST))

  • Additional Information: Took this bounty about 12:05, attempted to fly to Tatooine from Kaadara, Naboo. My ship took off, but I didn't. I logged out, and attempted to log back in, but recieved the message that the servers were loading. Waited for a few minutes reading posts in the forums and logged back in. My ship was still not on Naboo, so I paid for a ticket and flew to Bestine; the initial waypoint to my target was right outside of the city. When I launched a tracking droid, it returned a waypoint close to Mos Espa. I flew there in my ship (which was waiting for me at the Bestine starport), and flew past my mark on the way to the waypoint. on reaching the waypoint, I checked the mission information and determined that the white dot was in fact my mark.

    Just caught this thread Tanks, I had 7 over the weekend. I /bugged 6 and had a ticket for one, which CS referred me here. I will note the details when I encounter more. I only had one no show though, so that is good.

    Isn't this a bug that's been around since the first bh showed up in SWG?

    As I understand it, NPC's can attack them. I had a mark in Entha, a CL 82 w/16k HAM, that had been attacked by 3 Rebel NPC's. They had done almost 50% damage to him and they continued to fire on him after I engaged, but I still got loot rights. I also had a mark in Mos Taike that was engaged by the Rebel NPC's there after I engaged the mark. This one was also a CL 82 w/ 12k+ HAM. So as long as I can get loot rights, I'll just be grateful for the help.

    This one's not a "white dot" mark but it's some kind of bug nonetheless.


    A level 80 mission paying 31127 cr. Target is Ilif Darkwave, a CL82 silver-chevron mark with 18311 HAM. Located on Corellia at 6814, 17, 4772 at 10:45 AM EDT today.


    I got the mark down to about half health and then, for lack of a better description, he "went to hyperspace"... basically, the mark moved toward and then past me at incredible speed and vanished. I launched another seeker, it continued to report the mark at this same location again and again. I tried /tar ilif, no result. Had to abort the mission.

    Was white con for me,then a guy walked buy who was an imp combatant and it attacked him.He wasnt a bh didnt have mission and I was there before the guy showed taking info down after I seen it white con and it attacked him.I did get the money and exp for the kill though didnt know if it was white con bug or something else so I will post it here just in case.

    Seems like this happens whenever a factional npc attacks the mark.. Each time I get one in Anchorhead this happens.
