DOH!!! SAME OLD SH*T AGAIN MAN!!!...but then again...I kinda enjoy posting to threads like this.So here goes,

I'll just give 2 examples as well as my brief story so far as a Jedi :

I unlocked on the first day of CU.So yeah you can have fun calling me a post-cu whiner noob.Just remember that I will not be gentle on your corpseshould you happen to be a BH on my server and make the mistake of hunting me Well I grinded half of my template with no spin groups or no kashyyyk at all and I would get an overpowering BH every 15-20 mnts and I am serious about it,every fkn 20 mnts. And 4 of every 5 BH would kill me and run me down, call me names, curse, frustrate me etc. and all because I didn't run and tried to put whatever fight I am capable of....

Now that I have been full temp for over 2-3 months I'll give you 2 examples of what happens when a BH comes :

One of the most hated BHs of my server comes for me,I notice him coming with his bomb droid so I prepare and survive the droid. Then we fight for what seemed to be 2 mnts and then I incap him and thanks to the bug that causes instant DB(I wasn't exploiting,I didn't mean to do it to the guy.An NPC was attacking me and my DB timer suddenly went to full along with the NPC's blaster shots on me and BHs DB).This guy,I hate too,but we started talking in tells and I stated that I didn't mean to instant DB,and that I didn't like it happening either. Then we talked a bit and all and all my hate subsided...coz he is a nice guy,all he does is not letting go of you until he kills you, should you run...and that is something I've learned to be understanding towards. Thus a totally mature hunting season ended

Secondly, there was this guy in Theed. He came and started shooting at me.We fought a bit and as it is the regular againts a MCM/MBH I just let him drain his mind down.He was a bit better than what I can handle so my force had to go down to 10%...he then suddenly made a burst run to the nearest bridge in Theed(you know those bridges with stairs, they are found to the south of the city) he ran under it and bugged my vision(which I am dead sure is an intended exploit on his part). On my screen he was standing under the bridge but actually he had run up it and I kept trying to hit him while it said CAN'T SEE TARGET over over over and over again. We got outta combat eventually,he sat down, regened ALL his freaking mind and he is as good as new...Me?...I have 12% Force...So I have to run...A$$H0L€ blew my BARC on the way and I had a hard time making it to a large river pretty far outside Theed...Then I swam my way to the middle of river where he can not do anything at all to me.I'm out of range to everything. He kept calling me coward, noob etc. for over 20 mnts while I tried to explain him that a Jedi can not do ANYTHING without his Force Power Points. Then I swam to the other side of the river and he came along with his swoop,he started shooting,I kicked his a$$ easily because he couldn't exploit under a bridge this time and I started to yell at him to get up,to fight, that he is a mighty&bold Bounty Hunter, that he should stand up and kill me...he gets up...second incap...I yell at him "Get up mighty warrior! Get up and entertain me!"...gets up...I kill him...then I send him a tell asking who the noob is.(NOTE : There were several other things I said to this BH but I don't think it is healthy to mention them here )

So yeah you see,you gotta be a little mature on both sides.I personally hate any BH until the moment he/she comes to hunt me and bests me or dies and does not be an a$$.Except the BHs that I fought and witnessed to be moral people, all BH deserve nothing more than my spit.Cause I have been treated like a sewer rat that got in a hospital(if you catch my drift) just because I was trying to get some decent amount of xp at a decent rate...

Are Jedi innocent? HELL NO!!! We got plenty of pr*cks in Jedi community too. Most of them are pretty young and troubled in the head.So I can only hope people open their eyes and see that it is not professions it is people.Same with factions.

But no,there are 10 year old noobs playing this game and they gotta waste their time trying to screw our gameplay 24/7

I have noticed this too, it's getting worse. Honestly I can't really say who started it, probably both sides at around the same time.

At first I suspected that this was prevailant in all forms of PvP, each side having a few bad apples that make things miserable for the others. When the game first came out, I was an active GCW participant, and there were rebels and Imperials that said some downright insulting things to each other. I kinda tried my best to ignore them (or ban them if they were in my group (Imperial)/shoot them otherwise (Rebel)). I kinda fell out of PvP a short while later, not interested in immersing myself in a crowd of squabbling 12-year-olds which, for a while there, seemed like almost everyone left in the GCW. I now am a regular PvPer, but not on the ground. In space. And that's when it struck me.

During my first trip to Deep Space, I got jumped by a Rebel. Incredibly, despite my lack of space PvP experience and poor components, I won. I sent a congratulatory /tell to my now-dead target, thanking him for a good fight. He replied in turn, also commenting on my flying skill and surprised at "how well I handled myself for my first time in DS." He and I had a couple more bouts that night and we've sorta built up a bit of a friendly rivalry, as I've fought him more often than any other person in space.

So I thought I'd gotten lucky and run into one of the nice ones. But as I speant more and more time in Deep Space and racked up more and more PvP kills (along with a few deaths...) I started to notice something: I almost always got a congratulatory /tell at the end of my duel. Win or lose, outnumbered or one-on-one, fair fight or jumped, I would always send a "Good fight" to my opponent and I would recieve one in turn, sometimes even before I'd finished typing. I actually had more fun in DS than anywhere else in the game because of that. I started to wonder "Am I on to something here or does DS just attract the civil players of this game?"

So why is the hatred between Jedi and BHso heated? There are plenty of debates often questioning the maturity level of both sides, but I believe the coreproblem is deeper than that. The hate is intense because, unlike my Deep Space example, you are fighting over something that matters. The Jedi stands to lose hours of work over this, it riles a lot of Jedi up. They vent (however unhealthily) by trash talking against BHs that come for them, win or lose. They see each BH attack as a personal attack against their status, their hard work and an insult to their person, even though most BHs mean nothing personal in coming after a Jedi.

Similarily, some BHs get so sick of seeing lightsabers (and dying to them for that matter), that they start up an almost evangelical witch-hunt against the Jedi of this game, taking a perverse sense ofpride not because they killed a Jedi, not because they got paid, but because they hampered a Jedi's growth. Kind of depraved, if you ask me....

I somehow suspect (rather embaressingly) that Jedi are more the perpetrators of this than BHs, simply because we lose more than you do. This is why, more than ever, I believe forced PvP HAS to go. Removing XP loss is not the answer, as it simply leads to problems with exploiting the system. Although I don't like to say it, the easiest solution would simply to be removing player bounties and instead having NPC BHs fight the Jedi depending on their level and the level of vis they obtain. I wouldn't mind adding in an option for a Jedi to voluntarily place themselves on the BH terminals, although I know many of the BHs would be against such a proposal.

The only thing that aggrevastes me is when I get called a noob for losing. I'm not a noob because I lost and I didnt lose because I'm a noob! I dont mind some teenager throwing a volley of obsenities and insults at me, I know I got to the somehow. Just hate it when they /laugh or call me a noob.

I took on a cloaked jedi the other day. He was cloaked so when I was near by and the waypoint updated right infront of me with a piket lair in the background I did an area attack. YES I got him out of his cloak, and YES I aggroed a piket lair. I took the jedi on for like 15 minutes with the lair following me around hehe. Now I look back, stupid decision, because there was no chance I could win now. I was healing between each shot. I dealt some good damage on the jedi, but basically I had no chance at this point. I fought on and on till my mind ran out and then he db'd me.

Then, his grinding friends started saying that was the sorriest bounty they have ever seen, I got called a noob and that I got pwned by pickets. Hmmm....That really pissed me off...

So am I a noob?
