I told you guys already, I'll be fine with the heal costs. I don't need to actively heal vs a BH anyway. This patch doesn't hurt a master defender at all in the Jedi-BH fight. It helps me. Did you notice the reduced saber action/force costs?







Caelrie Is right. Thereis no mention about the Defender template. Just last night I fought a Defender/Rifleman, and he whooped me good even with my CM 4000 heals, and easily absorbed my Rifle damage with some kind of Defender macro.


Not that I can compain. With all the changes up there Nerfing Jedi to a pulp. I should prpbably just keep my mouth shut lol


By the way, is there a link that someone can give me for a more detailed list of the Pub 19 changes?

A strong defense should be as viable as a strong offense. It's the classic paladin vs rogue matchup.

I am talking about certain jedi who were master healer/master enhancer/0404 saber or a similar build. Defender defenses are still better than nonjedi defenses. And with the new patch, jedi offensive capabilities will be better than non jedi offensive capabilities. The primary jedi ability that looses out are the heals.


And quite frankly, heals were way too powerful. You could practically win every lightsaber duel by just healing yourself while the other guy wastes all his force hitting you with a saber. I am all for full template jedi killing large numbers of non jedi. However, the heals the way they were allowed for 100 k missions to beat most bh's with a laser rifle ranged shot. The new patch just makes it so that 90% of the jedi power is not concentrated in a few boxes of healer.

I love this patch. lots of BH lovin'. If the devs want us to attack full template BH, 1v1. with this we might have a chance.


I love reading75% of Jedi whinewhen anythings don't go there way, saying BH get everything we want (thats not true we dont). every prof whines about the other profs. Most Jedi just wantit so thatnothing can touchthem in combat, want the point in that. they everyonewould be Jedi.


IMO there should only be a few REALLY hard NPC jedi. as they are meant to be in hiding or dead. not running around in groups of 20 showing off. If you want to play as a Jedi, buy JediOutcast or Kotor1 or 2.

some words for you developers.. First you guys trying to get more people by open the nwe village system so several hundred thousen could get jedi..... Now when everyone are jedi and have been grinding SO HARD your making jedi crap... You open the villge to get more people to play and now your making a new phase to make jedis leave the game?? THANKS ALOT WE LOVE YOU SO!!!!!!


What the heck will the new publish be? all jedis are going to die in a half hit? or are you going to place a 60 sec timer on all jedi healer skills/defender skills?

BHs, don't shout yay! yet...


The jedis are getting better Force armor (I think it will cap at 10000 wich means about 60%), and more LS damage. It will still be hard to kill them when they will be absorbing the damage with force armor. And I guess the force cost for force armor will be lowered mucho. Force Choke will be a pretty handy skill bypassing all armor or other defenses, here a quote from jedi forum:



"Force Choke will go through EVERYTHING! Armor, Innate Armor, and even defenses!"



So, I guess things will be pretty much the same as before.




Just an other trick from SOE to get BHs and old players back to the game.

my alt isBH.


figth against a full template jedi is hard (hope it always will).


and wasting hours because your bounty hides in his house, camps in kasshyk and so on...is also hard to accept;


SOE wants to correct these stuffs, and decrease jedi combat ability. They may be wrong, and should, maybe, ease BH jobs (TEF !!!) and keep actual skills.


i feel pain for nice jedies, who accept fight and don t exploit. They are main victims of this fix.


Cheaters wont be disturbed by this changes. They ll continue to run like chickens....
