Enough to make it cheap. You have every right to not care, I do not want you not to voice your opinion. However I just want to make sure my opinion is heard in hopes of getting others to rally to my side.
Also, anyone with a token respec who has 2 years service (or just any fast grinder) could switch to MBH now. He'd be an MBH and still have 2 years service, so he'd get the armor too. Anyone who met those requirements could do it. Like a 2 year entertainer vet who respec'd now, and had never been in pvp.
I also dislike any form of elitism.

I think player bounties andor some other significant reward is favorable in this case. After all the Jedi are getting some cool stuff.
Elder Master Bounty Hunter sounds kinda hinky. Why not ask for Jedi Hunter?

i still say battle worn mando and jet pack ,for all the hard work and armour and adkes we lose and also jedi kills i think this is fair.
for the time and effort. same as grinding out a jedi??? at least we was at the keyboard.

Jedi didn't want bounties. Now they won't have them. I'm not ever going to bother with that topic again (unless specifically approached by the Jedi community)

Not sure if the idea's been brought up because there have been so many opt-in schemes around, but...
What about an opt-in system that's not predicated on profession?
Another thought I had about it, and it'd require some work to iron out the details, but...what about a reward to the hunted based on how long they were able to avoid capture/deathblow? You'd have to do things like make sure the reward doesn't increase if you're in a private structure/private instance (think Avatar vs Ryatt Trails) or anywhere else that not every one has access to. Basically the more time you spend in public areas/adventure planets/etc, the higher your rating goes. Unsure of whether this would include space or not.
This would encourage people to take part in the system, I believe, and in a manner that-at first glance-doesn't appear to be exploitable. The longer you survive being vulnerable, the higher the reward. Should be an exponential based increase rather than a linear one. That way someone who evades capture for, say 40 days, is rewarded more than someone who got killed 10 times in 40 days.

I skimmed most of this thread lol. But this seems like a cool idea as well. Elder X or what not the jedi's get will be to remind them and new jedi of the power they used to have. Jedi Hunter or whatever (as long as it's cool and fitting to the prof like elder/master is for jedi) would do the same for bounty hunters.
I'm not saying not to pursue any of the other options listed, but the title would be cool for ya bh's.
I just chose Jedi Hunter because of the era that's coming to a close and, well, because it'd be a groovy title.
