Thread: Combat Xp
Hi, a new bounty hunter here, just got master marksman/scout, and going to start BH.
I was wondering if someone could explain to me exactly how combat xp works. I noticed that when I use traps, I get more, and I am told if I use grenades I will get more too.
Ok, but why is that? What exactly is combat xp, so I can understand it? Obviously rifle xp is all about killing with a rifle: more damage done with a rifle, more rifle xp. Same with carbs and pistols. But combat xp is confusing me a little.
Thanks for the help. I need the combat xp for novice BH, and while I could just hunt and get it, I'd like to understand it too.
well combat exp is really nothing just another form of exp bh don't have to worry about it cause non of our trees require it cept getting to novice bh thats it, and combat is determiend by how much like wepaons exp i get i think its somehting like i don't know the percent but i do know for 2000 weapons exp you would get 200 combat exp, and you get it everytime no matter what weapon your using
with grenades, the only exp you get is combat exp, so if you normally get say 3k from killing something (a lair or whatever) and use grenades to kill it you should get around that in combat exp. at least i think so, i havent really had the chance to test it out. Used a few nades on a vrynok and then finished it off with the lance and got 200 pike and 48 or so combat, though the combat was split into a 20 and a 28 from the nades
This method is going to go away after the patch that is on the test center.
Go to Dant and get quenker or savage quenker missions.
Hit Mindshot1 with your laser rifle (highest damage weapon), and hit peace. Run away.
Once the mob is down to 1 healt mind , lob a C-22 grenade (not c-12 'cause you have a cert for it and could hurt yourself).
2-3K combat exp. per mob.
OR
Go to Dant and get savage quenker missions and just kill them, 2-3K combat exp. per lair.
