A buddy and I went out there a couple of nights ago and he was desperate for some nice shards so we killed 8-10 of them non stop and got nothing 
wish I would have known this before heading out. It was still fun fighting the beast you only see his feet.

ive been fighting one for about 20 mins now and hes gona fall, hes one tough motha...!!! i was wondering if there are any that are tameable, not that i could take it, but its cooll lookin.
ps is there any loot on these things, or cool resources lol, it sure is a lot of trouble.

No, these aren't tameable as they are CL 300. We can only control CL70 and below.

how did it go man? ive been trying to see one of those for awhile. When i still had ranger i spent about 4 hours looking for him one day with my brother jedi. Ive read and heard that he is in the north, near or in the desert. Where did you find this guy. i Just found my first peko peko albatross about a week ago. i was lookin for him off and on for a long time, i got a wp for him though. Ranger really helps with finding stuff like that. I wish there were enough skill points for ch ,rifles, and a little ranger and medic.that pekokicked my butt twice lol. later man

Gorax are generally found in the desert region of Endor. I've seen (and fought) several as close as 1500 m from the smuggler's outpost. But they're also found along the northern mapedge.

Gorax bone shards are good loot. We put together a guild hunt a while back and took down about 10 or 15 of them in one buff session. We ended up selling the shards and splitting the profit between 6 or 7 of us. It came out to 400k or so each.

Ive never seen one oh well ...... I might go hunt harder lol jut to see if i can even take hits from it

Gorax got a shadow nerf it seems, they rarely drop any loot nowadays. Kind of a pointless super MOB.

ive always wanted to c one those guys.....heh when i was little i used to watch that ewok movie a lot......amazing didnt realize it was a gorax until i saw it on SWG creatures....

They seem to be bugged. Peko Peko Albatrosses also seem to be bugged now; often you can't even harvest them, and as for feathers, forget about it.

Anyone ever use animal attack (goodbye *sniff*) to kill a Gorax?
