You should the BH lose anything? There's no bounty on his head.

Jergal, let me make this clear to you:

Just because a Jedi is on the terminals does *not* mean that he *must* fight you. Period.

You are imputing motives to Jedi players that may or may not be their true motives. You are making constant, blanket assumptions that Jedi who get on the terminals are there deliberately, and that these same Jedi, when they're AFK in their houses, are doing it deliberately to annoy you.

This may be true. It may not be true. In any case, there's nothing "game breaking" about being AFK in a private house. You're not forced to sit there for hours. You're not forced to take Jedi missions. It's supplemental content, not primary content, in the development team's book.

Move on, do something else. Like NPC missions, which are your core content; they're potentially far more lucrative than any Jedi mission, anyway.

Until you learn to accept that you're up against real people when you take a Jedi mission, you should probably stop taking Jedi missions.

You might have a point that Jedi who are AFK for long periods of time should not be on the terminals, *but* if the developers code this, it *will* get abused. You might also have a point that there should be two BH mission slots; one for Jedi, one for NPCs.

But forcing characters out of their houses, or 'breaking in' to private houses, just won't happen. Both options are too easily abusable.

Sure, I have no problem with giving bh access to my house, when and only when, I can have a detection device at the entrance to my house that does 5k of damage when an un-invited guest comes a calling. Til then, its my house and if I want to sit it in it all day, thats my choice. I pay my 14.99 per month just like you, and if I want my house sitting to be my content, then so be it.

The first thing is househiding. Theres not a single good thing coming out of this feature, only BH annoyance. This even increases the BH-jedi hate. Jedi doesnt get a single xp or any other benefits other than annoying all BHs coming to a house where a jedi sits AFK for hours and hours.

A BH lockpick, made bysmugglers would let the BH inside the house after a 30 sec timer and an possible alarm setting off. This would give the jedi a fair amount of time to prepare for the fight and the BH wouldnt have an other gamebreaking mission. A fair fight for both.

Not likely. Just because a jedi decides to sit in a house and craft a saber or redecorate or comtemplate the lint in his cloaca, entitles a bh to crash the security a house or locked building provides. Also what is to prevent a smart jedi or guildie on the lookout to cityban and ban list you from every aspect of the buildings where they sit? I suppose you would ask for a nerf on that as well. My recommendation is wait for the jedi to come out of the house, or drop the mission.

house sitting is actually done for two primary reasons.

1. for low visibility jedi to check to see if they are on the terms. If you spend 24 hrs or so afk in the house and no Bh comes for you, your fairly certain that your clean. (BH always send a tell to a afk jedi so works like a charm).

2. If is widley believed that online time reduces visibility faster then offline time. So many jedi go afk while at work, school etc to reduce any gained visibility faster.

Want to reduce afk house jedi you can.

Break jedi in too 2 groups.

Current jedi would be given the choice to be permently pvp or pve enable. One time shot no turning back.

New jedi when accepting padawan will also get a one time choice pvp enable or pve.

the only way to change your status would be to drop jedi and start over.

This also assits the gcw since few jedi would be around in pvp.

This way you get only jedi that want to pvp.

Not to hurt the BH feelings but the majority of players and jedi don't want to pvp. I would think the majority of jedi would be happy in a strickly pve enviorment. I know I would. I like jedi I just don't care for the pvp aspect. I accept it just don't like it(undefeated in my Bh vs jedi encounters so it's not that I can't pvp)

The second 'hiding' is the gamebreaking one.

Note to Jargal ... stop using the word "gamebreaking" until you know what it means (I think they might teach it to you when you get to Grade 6). "Gamebreaking" means the game stops working. The game does not stop working when a jedi sits AFK in their house. It does not prevent you from dropping the mission and getting another one. It does not prevent you from going out and grinding exp. The only thing it prevents you from doing is killing that jedi at that time. The word you're looking for is "frustrating".

Here endeth the lesson

TBH i think jedi should at least put up a fight, if they are (as they claim to be) then let us see this power, instead of running get the fight over and done with. Its alot more fun

This is an issue with space PVP in general, not with the idea of BH/Jedi space hunting. Doesn't mean that BH missions should not extend into the space arena.

I fight sometimes . . .and sometimes I run; depends on my mood and what I am doing at the time. Take last night for instance, if a BH came, I would have fought. Day before, a BH hit while I was PvPing . . .i put him in stasis and moved to another location. Being overt and having BHs and others hitting in you is a bad situation

Its simple, jsut remember that this is our game too and we may not want to waste our time with a BH

ermm that doesn't sound that balanced if by your own admission space pvp is borked atm, if they got rid of the 1 hit kills then fair enough but until that time it would be totally unfair on the Jedi as they would have no chance of fighting back or are you just looking for that advantage?
