Bounty Hunter Archive

Well yeah, but I am tired of peeps screaming exploiter, exploiter because people start hunting in the ryatt trails. I am being completely honest with you, most of the time, the people are actually there grinding, its only when it gets late at night, and a few hours b4 server shutdown is when they do the afk grinding. Personally, I say let them do it, the system is after all working as intended, and until SOE changes it, or says that it is an exploit, you guys really have no leverage for an argument here.

Other than the LOS issue, if you see a jedi, and you have his mission, then he is fair game. afk or not. I don't see how so many people who afk grind ruin the experience for others. Although I use a macro to target the leaders target and attack it, I don't walk away from the kb simply because I have to stay on my toes for a bh. If I were to walk away, Id be very uncomfortable and probably couldnt sleep anyway. so that being said, go ahead and do your job and stop worrying so much about what other's are doing.

First off i'm a jedi and I say kill all the afk grinders. I don't see it as a problem if u go afk for a few minutes to goto the bathroom or grab a bite to eat but for hours on end is extreme. And all i have to say is enjoy it while u can paddy's. SOe does see this as a problem. Ever goto the in Development thread? Because there is a thread there with plans of taking out recursive macros. Its all a matter of time. I'll silently applaud any bh that takes out an afk macroing jedi. Too bad ya'll can't kill all the nonjedi afk grinders there as well.

AFK MACROS ARE NOT EXPLOITS, STOP BEING TOOLS.

I will keep hunting these AFK Jedi until they realize that the Trail exploit is no longer safe harbor for them anymore.

Good job on your kills... But why are they exploiting?

Just because they are grinding on Kashyyk (afk or otherwise)does notmean they are NOT exploiting. The throwing of the "eploiters!!" word around like this really needs to stop.

It's exploiting.. It's like someone finding a way to copy items due to server lag. If they wanted people afk grinding mob they would add an afk grind button. If you read the notes, CU was to force players to be active at there keyboards. It people like this that made CoB so annoying even for an active player to do. I can't wait until all the exploiter to start crying how there prof was gimped since they no longer can afk grind.

No it is NOT exploiting...it may be cheap, but it is NOT exploiting... Exploiting is using a BUG to your advantage... standing there using the macro system (a system PROVIDED to them) and attacking spawns as they come naturally, is NOT exploiting. The Spawns are not broken, there is NO bug that is being exploited by standing and using a macro....

the LOS bug, however IS an exploit, but that is seperate from macro grinding.

Keep in mind that the Jedi from the other story had a full force bar and wasn't taking outside damage.

AFK Jedi are easy, but it gets to be a pain when they run into a LOS hole.

You know, us bounty hunters have been called cheap, evil, andbad people for long enough. We are more of cops then boutny hunters now. When a jedi does something wrong or mean, most bounty hunters will head immediately to the terminal, get his mission, and take him down as punishment. On the other hand if a bounty hunter meets a mark who is friendly, kind, and not a cheater he will drop the mission. That is why currently I think bounty hunter is one of the most noble proffesions in the game!

Good better thanbad Unlike star wars we are just regular people, so a jedi in this game doesn't have to be insightful. A bounty hunter can be more insightful. Lets have an all-server-widemassive BH vs. jedigame show waht would you do thing. I would put 100k on the bounty hunters!ecspecially physical challenge(you get your opponents mission) section!

Um....no. Cops aren't supposed to choose their crime-fighting activities based on how much they'll get for acting in that particular incident, they're supposed to fight crime because....it's crime, not because they're gonna get 100k for bagging this one badguy. Bounty Hunter, on the other hand, pick and choose depending on how much they feel the reward is vs the risk.

I love killing AFK jedi, not only do you put a nice dent in what they grinded, but they can't keep grinding anymore! I would love to see the face on the guy who gets back on to see his cloned body, scrolls through the chat to see a couple hours ago he got killed by a BH and has gained no xp, maybe even lost some
