The good ol' TK 4304 (all defenses plus meditate)
Fencer 1440 (All defenses sans 20 equilibrium (if I got 4440 it would have made no difference as I'm 1 point from capped on melee defense))
To get these I will have to get all brawler branches but one, which lets me get a cheap:
Master Brawler, for the +5 polearm speed and warcry2/intim2/lunge2
Medic 2200, does speed really not work on yourself? Maybe I should get 2020 instead. Either way it's not much, but I use it mostly for when I have a chance to sneak away and heal in peace for a minute, or speed up my buddies' incap recovery.
This leaves me with 1 SP which is pretty convenient considering I just turned FS.
I have 124 melee defense, and between 75 and 110 defenses for blind, dizzy, knockdown, posture down, stun. I have never ever been knocked down with this model while under the effect of a thakitilo.
I'm seriously considering dropping my dizzy defense to make people dizzy me and lure them into spamming a kd move trying to get me off my feet, any opinions on this? (I bet I'd be the first one in a while to look for negative dizzy defense attachments). As a melee class I would never want to change postures in combat so that shouldnt be a problem unless I want to burstrun. And lets not forget the obvious reward of saved SP.
A big weakness is the lack of scout, so people fleeing up hills is a problem. I have a trusty pet mount I use for this but obviously it's not ideal. I'm experimenting with travel biscuits, they dont have much stomach filling (10 I think?) and +8 terrain neg helps a *lot* when you have 0, but it's still pretty slow.
But my biggest weakness of all is my lack of damage output. I am able to stand my ground very well but I just can't do any damage. I have a 202-808 LVA (950 pup'ed) with 10 dizzy defense and 8 intim defense which I use for pvp, but it literally does less than 30 damage to other melee classes, and we all know how many there are of those. To jedi I do about 5-10 damage on a bad day. I've reached 400 floaty damage but thats where /forcerun2 kicks in. I've never incapped a jedi, give or take a couple of times when they used feign death right before I would have got them.
If my opponent is in composite and has a con/stam buff, be sure that he will heal faster than I can damage him by far, if he has some unusual form of damage (master tk, stun, dot, eyeshot spam, etc) it's a sure loss for me. But if I manage to apply one of my dot's my chances are fair. Too bad most people tend to get extremely unhappy about dots, and most of my victories are followed by hate tells and grief

Well not a pikeperson yet, but the difference is
TK 4400 Will give you better state defences,
Whereas 4004 will give you better Melee and
Ranged defence..
