I'm doing a new template for PvE and PvP. I was wondering which you guys think is best...


Master Fencer/TKM/Master Swordsman

Master Pikes/TKM/Master Swordsman

I have no idea what to do. Just cool factor, Pikeman kicks the **edit** outta all of them but right now it's definatly the FoTM or Corbantis. So whaddya you guys think?

With a 315 max Geo, a +100 max dmg p'up, and an "/intimidate; /intimidate; /warcry; /torsoshot; SPAM /eyeshot;" macro...Ill kill you like all hell =D

i am TKM,Master Fencer, and Master Pikeman ...that leaves me with 4 skill points but gives me TONS ..give me a sec lol this might take awhile

oh yea .. keep in mind i am a Trandoshan so i get bonuses to unarmed dmg and speed ...accuracy as well i believe...

All this leaving ZERO skill points. NONE. Perfect build. MPike, medic properties, TK properties AND the FINAL piece to the damage types, LS. Now we can deal Kinetic, Electricity, Energy (with NSEL), and LS with polearm LS.

Templates eh? My current is Master pike, master brawler, 4003 TKA, 0444 swordsman, and medic 0040. I'm going to be making some changes as soon as either I get melee speed from FS or some more skill attachments. When I cap my speed I'm dropping swords entirely (Not that I use them at ALL anymore given the 89 polearm speed I have) and making something along the lines of: master pike, master brawler, TKA 4004, medic 0040, and 0010 smuggler. I'm gonna play around some more and see what else I can do with the skill points.

Well this is great pve template,especially with flame dot. Working on jedi so u can get melee speed instead of ranged accuracy. Will surrender medic and then complete 3 fs tree left. Can solo everything.

Im thinking about my next template and Im sick of TKA now, its basically useless. So Im going to start pikeman again when i gave all the tapes I need. So my template is goin to be something like Master Pike, Master brawler, Fencer 0-3-0-0 and Doc 0002 to cure the states and poisin and poisin and disease. But should I leave out the fencer defence (but I absolutely hate being KDd im usually on the other end of it ) and take more Doc or what ? Or maybe leave out fencer and drop a box of Doc to keep the meditate tree in TKA :S

Really appreciate any advice

My template is intended for pvp and nightsisters primarily:

Master pikeman
The good ol' TK 4304 (all defenses plus meditate)
Fencer 1440 (All defenses sans 20 equilibrium (if I got 4440 it would have made no difference as I'm 1 point from capped on melee defense))
To get these I will have to get all brawler branches but one, which lets me get a cheap:
Master Brawler, for the +5 polearm speed and warcry2/intim2/lunge2
Medic 2200, does speed really not work on yourself? Maybe I should get 2020 instead. Either way it's not much, but I use it mostly for when I have a chance to sneak away and heal in peace for a minute, or speed up my buddies' incap recovery.
This leaves me with 1 SP which is pretty convenient considering I just turned FS.

I have 124 melee defense, and between 75 and 110 defenses for blind, dizzy, knockdown, posture down, stun. I have never ever been knocked down with this model while under the effect of a thakitilo.
I'm seriously considering dropping my dizzy defense to make people dizzy me and lure them into spamming a kd move trying to get me off my feet, any opinions on this? (I bet I'd be the first one in a while to look for negative dizzy defense attachments). As a melee class I would never want to change postures in combat so that shouldnt be a problem unless I want to burstrun. And lets not forget the obvious reward of saved SP.

A big weakness is the lack of scout, so people fleeing up hills is a problem. I have a trusty pet mount I use for this but obviously it's not ideal. I'm experimenting with travel biscuits, they dont have much stomach filling (10 I think?) and +8 terrain neg helps a *lot* when you have 0, but it's still pretty slow.

But my biggest weakness of all is my lack of damage output. I am able to stand my ground very well but I just can't do any damage. I have a 202-808 LVA (950 pup'ed) with 10 dizzy defense and 8 intim defense which I use for pvp, but it literally does less than 30 damage to other melee classes, and we all know how many there are of those. To jedi I do about 5-10 damage on a bad day. I've reached 400 floaty damage but thats where /forcerun2 kicks in. I've never incapped a jedi, give or take a couple of times when they used feign death right before I would have got them.
If my opponent is in composite and has a con/stam buff, be sure that he will heal faster than I can damage him by far, if he has some unusual form of damage (master tk, stun, dot, eyeshot spam, etc) it's a sure loss for me. But if I manage to apply one of my dot's my chances are fair. Too bad most people tend to get extremely unhappy about dots, and most of my victories are followed by hate tells and grief

Right now, I am Master Pikeman, Ranger Tracking IV, Teras Kasi Warrior (Precision Strikes Line) and novice medic. It's a great PvE template, and I enjoy it a lot.

I have a template question(hopefully people still read the stickied items).The template I have been using is Master Pikeman, Master Brawler, Master Armorsmith with some merchant thrown in. I am really lacking in the defense/healing area so I dropped Master Brawler and Merchant to pick up TK for defense. I was planning on doing TKA 4-4-0-0 but I see alot of people here that are 4-0-0-4. Is there a reason that this is better?


Ive never done TK of stacked defense before so any input is appreciated.

Haven't seen mention of many

Non master pike templates..


We are starting to seriously try

to do the bunker and I may drop

some fencer and medic to get

the Electricity damage of pike..


Can probably get 3 full trees

without loosing much...


Question is, can a non master

Pikeman still do decent damage

with an Electricity weapon?

Well not a pikeperson yet, but the difference is


TK 4400 Will give you better state defences,


Whereas 4004 will give you better Melee and


Ranged defence..
