A few points, first Jedi is a PvP class. Its an Alpha class too. Players have a choice to sign up for that. Bounty Hunters sign up to hunt NPC's orJedi. Its a choice.
Just because you sign up for Jedi, then decide the PvP is a pain, don't rain on another profession. Follow your own advise. Drop Jedi.
And as for the can't help gaining vis part, stop dueling outside starports. I'm sure there are plenty of Jedi on this board who can stay off the terms and can help you out.
